Please use the prelude time to turn your attention to God s presence and help. As worship is not an obligatory offering unto God, but a natural response to God s goodness, take time to consider all the reasons, big and small, for which you are thankful unto God. Nurturing our relationships and friendships in fellowship is essential to our life as a congregation, so please continue to do so following our time of worship. 3 Happy Easter yet again! We continue in the seven-week Easter season because the news of resurrection life is too incredible to celebrate just once, or even twice. Welcome! Worship Assistants are needed for two more Sundays in May, as well as Sundays in June. Please sign up on the sheet provided right outside the doors to the sanctuary. DAYBREAK MAY 8 1-2 persons to bake 2 doz. cookies each Faith Church cooks and serves a meal at Daybreak on the second Monday of each month.

Because of possible nut allergies, please mark cookies that have nuts in them. Sugar-free cookies are also appreciated. Drop them off in the kitchen by noon of that Monday.

At our next meeting, we will read our new book Learning to Walk in the Dark by Barbara Taylor up to page 72 also read in This I Believe I page 162 the chapter There Is Such A Thing As Truth. But bring both TIB books for next time. Next meeting: May 7 YOUTH GROUP Youth in grades 6-8 are invited to participate in Middle School Youth Group which meets in Fellowship Hall from 5:00-7:00 PM. Youth in grades 9-12 are invited to participate in high school youth group from 6:30-8:30 PM at Faith. Each week, we have a meal together, which is sponsored by our awesome parents and mentors. Sara Leister will lead the crafts. We are looking for a leader for games, a helper in the craft department, team leaders for the groups and a photographer.
