2 Welcome to Morrisville Presbyterian Church WE WELCOME GUESTS AND VISITORS to our service today. If you are not a member, we invite you to consider membership with us. If you would like more information about how we can serve you, please speak to a pastor. FRIENDSHIP PAD: During the Words of Welcome, please pass the Friendship Pad to the outside aisle and back again to the center. This allows worshipers to recognize people in their pew, and helps staff members identify those who may need attention. THE CHANCEL FLOWERS are offered to the glory of God and are given by the Beidler family in memory of Juanita Kay Beidler, gentle and beloved mother and grandmother. We miss you greatly. The flowers are also given in loving memory of Richard H. Evans by his wife, Carol; their son, Jeffrey; daughter, Nancy Stoner; and grandchildren, Maddy, Jordan and Lizzie. CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN UP TO AGE 4 is provided in the Nursery/Pre-School room from 10:15 a.m. 11:45 a.m. Infants and toddlers are also welcome in worship. Visitors, please feel free to worship with your children for as long as they are able. If he or she gets wiggly and needs a stretch break, audio from the service is available in the chapel, until your child is ready to return to the sanctuary for you to continue to worship together. HEARING ASSISTANCE DEVICES are available for use anywhere in the sanctuary during worship. These pocketsized receivers are available from Deacons in either Narthex and are to be returned after the service. HYMNALS, BIBLES, & BULLETINS WITH LARGE PRINT are available during worship each Sunday morning from a Deacon in the Narthex. Please return the Hymnal and/or Bible after the service. PASTORAL CARE REMINDER Members of the staff truly want to be attentive when members or friends of MPC are experiencing health difficulties. Please come out, have your car washed and purchase a few treats at the bake sale. FLOWERS NEEDED FOR SUNDAY, JUNE 25 If you would like to give flowers on this Sunday, please contact DeeAnn Martin by at deemar918@aol.com or call Flowers may be given in memory of a loved one, in gratitude to someone, or as a thank you for a ministry or act of kindness. The flowers not only add beauty to our worship services, but they also serve as an outreach ministry. 6

7 SAVE THE DATE - VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL A joint Vacation Bible School with MPC, Morrisville United Methodist Church, St. John Lutheran and Elect Saints will be held from July 9 to July 13, Supper will be served at 5:30 p.m. with VBS activities after dinner. There is a need for many volunteers. Please visit mumcpa.org to register children online, to view a list of volunteer opportunities and to register as a volunteer. Volunteers are needed to help with the preparation of the materials for the children s craft projects. If you are interested in helping to prepare crafts in advance of VBS at your own convenience, please Beth Keys at tkeys9690@aol.com. If you have Joann Fabric coupons you wish to donate to VBS, please give them to Beth or leave them in the collection box in the Communication Center. Kim Jackimowicz still needs a photographer, another music helper, some floaters to fill in where needed and more Youth Guides and actors for the Story Telling Troupe. This year s theme is Hero Central, which will help our children discover their strength in God through Bible stories, a mission project, crafts, games, and science. MPC CLOTHING CENTER MPC Clothing Center will close for the summer on June 13 and reopen on September 5, Thank you for your donations and continued support to help the Outreach Committee help those in need. During the summer, please do not leave any donations at the church. Donations will once again be accepted at the end of August. See you in September.
