Congregational Prayers: For baby Abigail Chistoffer, newborn daughter of Dan & Kim, who was in the hospital this past week For Janice Judd, who is in the hospital Prayers for our Sisters and Brothers at Emmanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston who reel from the violence of hatred unleashed in their sanctuary. We pray for the nine who were killed and for the soul of our nation. May we learn the ways of peace. May we own the power of our speech and attitudes. May we live the teachings of Jesus.

2 TRADITIONS EVENTS Float Building. Rochesterfest is right around the corner! You know what that means parade time!!! Would you like to help decorate our float?! We'd love if you would. We will be decorating our float in the East (back) parking lot TODAY at 10am and Wednesday, June 24th at 6pm. The float will debut at the Rochesterfest Parade on June 26th. Parade starts at 6:15pm. VBS: Power of the Parable. July 13th-17th. One week camp from 9am-3pm for elementary students (through grade 5 completed) and 9am-12pm for PreK. Musical presentation for friends and family on Friday, July 17th. Prepare for faith filled laughter, song, and sport as we spend our days learning the power of the parables with a fun and fabulous team of counselors and friends. Children should bring a sack lunch. Snack and drink will be provided. Register at or in the church office. Summer Organ Concert Series. This week s organ concert will be on Tuesday at 12:15 in the, performed by Stephen Hamilton from Church of the Holy Trinity, New York, NY. Homelessness in Rochester. On Sunday, June 28th at 10am, Garrison Lloyd, Project Manager for Olmsted County Public Health and the Rochester Coalition for Community Health Integration, will be presenting on the efforts going on in our community to address issues and needs for affordable housing in the Rochester area. History and Hymns of Charles Wesley. Thursdays beginning June 18th until July 9th. 11amnoon. Charles Wesley has been described as the first Methodist. He was one of the most prolific hymnists and poets in the English language. Join Andrew Galuska in the ECC for this class to learn more. It is free and open to all. Young Adults This Summer. We are launching a Young Adult Bible Study and small group! Some weeks we will study Sparkhouse s Animate Faith, other weeks we will head to Thursdays on First.
