Gloucester Quays Victorian Market Christmas Lantern Procession City Centre and Sunday 19 November 4.30pm Ring in the festive cheer with Gloucester s stunning annual Lantern Procession. Local artists and schoolchildren have been working on a series of giant lanterns based on this year s theme: the Christmas Pantomime. The parade travels along Southgate Street, Westgate Street and College Street and is followed by a free carol concert at Gloucester Cathedral. Sponsored by MacDonalds Westgate Street. When lit with over 6,000 lights, it's in a prominent position in the city centre and provides a beautiful focal point.
