3 Special events Tree of Remembrance Open Evening Friday , pm If you are missing someone this Christmas you are invited to visit our Tree of Remembrance, situated next to the outdoor crib, where you will be able to write a message on a star and place on one of the tree s branches as an act of remembrance. We ll once again be marking the beginning of Advent by opening the to the community. The evening will be full of variety, including a short service to bless the outdoor crib (featuring live farm animals), carols with the Choir and the lighting of our Christmas Trees! We suggest gathering at the West Front from 6.30pm for the service at 7.00pm, before exploring inside. There ll be something for everyone with guided taster tours, Christmas stalls, photo opportunities and activities for children. Meanwhile The Refectory Café will be open to enjoy a warming drink, whilst the offers the perfect opportunity for Christmas shopping. Donations welcome in aid of: The Friends' Christmas Lunch Friday , pm Enjoy seasonal food and a festive quiz in the Hostry s Weston Room per person. To book call or All photography Paul Hurst ARPS

4 Services Advent Procession Sunday , 6.00pm Join us for carols, readings and candlelit processions looking forward to the birth of Jesus Christ. Christingle Saturday , 3.30pm Bring the whole family for this traditional service with lots of Candles and Oranges! In support of the Children Society and its work helping vulnerable young people. Carols and Readings for Christmas Sunday , 3.30pm A short service of readings and popular carols on the Sunday before Christmas. Christmas Eve Sunday Christmas Day Monday Holy Communion, 8.00am Holy Communion, 8.00am Christmas Procession with Carols Thursday , 7.00pm Enjoy the story of Christmas told with carols and readings as the Choirs move in procession through the whole. Eucharist with Hymns, 9.30am Eucharist with hymns for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. Family Eucharist of Christmas Day, 10.30am All are invited to join us as we celebrate together the birth of Jesus. Crib Service, 12.00pm Bring the children along for lots of fun as the Nativity story is brought to life! This is an informal service suitable for children of all ages. Children are invited to come dressed as a character from the story of the Nativity. Festal Evensong, Procession & Carols, 3.30pm Celebrate Christmas Day with thanks and praise for the greatest Christmas present of all God s gift of his Son. Christmas Procession with Carols, 3.30pm Enjoy the story of Christmas told with carols and readings as the Choirs move in procession through the whole. Evening Prayer, 5.30pm Midnight Eucharist of Christmas, 11.15pm Join Bishop Graham James in celebrating the birth of the Saviour. Please arrive early. Epiphany Procession Sunday 21 January 2018, 3.30pm Discover the three Epiphany events that reveal Jesus as the Son of God in this processional service, which moves first to the Crib, then to the Nave Altar, the Font and finally to the High Altar in the Presbytery.
