For those who make that journey, He promises the incomparable delight of being transformed into His likeness and, of being used as His agents of transformation in this world. Pastor Doug is from Parker Evengelical Guest Speaker Presbyterian Church in Doug Resler Denver, CO and has a deep passion for missions. Pastor Doug has been a partner with us in the work we are doing in Ethiopia. Also joining us this morning will be more than 20 local and global ministry partners who are eager to share what God is doing through your missions giving. 4 SYMPHONY OF PRAISE TODAY, 10:30 AM Today, Pastor Ron Cochran will lead the Portland Christian Center Orchestra for A Symphony Of Praise during the 10:30 AM service. Please join us as we celebrate Christ through the great hymns and praise choruses of the church. MAIN GATHERING : THE PRAYER MEETING WEDNESDAYS, 7:00 PM Connecting with God through prayer and worship is an essential part of the life of any growing believer. Passionate praise leads the forefront of our gatherings, followed by in-depth teaching focusing on prayer and culminating with powerful prayer. We will begin the night by having dinner at the Tualatin Buffalo Wild Wings and will finish up with a movie at the Bridgeport Village movie theater. 5 SMALL GROUP LEADER TRAINING SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 12:00-2:00 PM Join us to embark on a journey of growth in 2019, as a part of God s plan for us to grow together in community. This year, we want to increase the kinds of communities that you can be a part of by introducing Small Groups. Small Groups are intentional gatherings of people who meet regularly to do life together, study and discuss God s Word and apply it to their lives. If you would like to host a Small Group, we invite you to join us for the Small Group Leader training on Sunday, February 24 from 12:00-2:00 PM in the Hospitality Center. If you have led a Tables For 8 group, hosted a table in a Sunday class, lead a class, or have always wanted to host a group, leadership training is for you. Lead by Pastor Matt Blankenship, training will begin with a meal and then move into how to start, lead and grow a group. Childcare is available as well.
