Although we come into His presence fully human, and unfortunately often imperfect, we believe we are a church family that pleases the heart of God. 4 TEACHING OUR KIDS TO SERVE SATURDAY, MARCH 18, 10:00 AM Kids Praise Company, Mpact, and Royal Rangers will be teaming up to bless our community through serving treats, sharing songs and spending time with the elderly at a local retirement center. ROMANIA MISSIONS TRIP MARCH In March, our missions team will be ministering to families in Romania in partnership with our very own, Tamera Henkes. While there, they will be hosting multiple women's teas and are seeking the following donations to fill gift bags: gloves, socks, lip balm (not lip gloss or lipstick), chocolates, fruit flavored tea bags and lotions. Donations can be turned in at the church office, in the lobby at the Romania Kids table, as well as Ladies Bible Study. LADIES BIBLE STUDY TUESDAYS AT 9:15 AM WEDNESDAYS AT 7:00 PM Over 8 sessions, Kelly Minter will lead you through the letter of 2 Corinthians... bearing treasures in jars of clay, meeting Christ through a pressing thorn, opening wide your heart in the midst of hurtful relationships, and what it means to embrace the lost and lonely as ministers of the new covenant. SPEED THE LIGHT BASKETBALL TOURNEY SUNDAY, MARCH 19, 1:00 PM Swing by after lunch on Sunday, March 19 to cheer on the Portland Christian Center Students Ministries as they host a Basketball Fundraiser starting at 1:00 PM in the gym. This is a fulllength basketball game between the students and adults. There will be a snack shack available to get your food and drinks during the game. All proceeds go to Speed The Light. KIDS PRAISE COMPANY SPRING MUSICAL SUNDAY MAY 21, 6:00 PM Capture Kids Praise Company in a new upbeat musical that teaches the importance of being unselfish in today s selfie world by sharing the transforming love of Christ. Come be a light for Him as we sing, act and dance our way through a life-changing adventure and learn about the selfless love of Christ and how to share it with others. Our missionaries use the phones for communications, photography, all well as sharing digital Bibles. They need to be unlocked or have the ability to be unlocked. Apple or Android is fine. Contact Sarah Landis at or sarah.landis@pcctoday.com. A BLUEPRINT FOR AGING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5 AT 7:00 PM There is no doubt about it, aging brings various challenges. This FREE nine week course will feature several different instructors, each of whom will present in their specific field of expertise as it relates to senior care topics. Through presentations, handouts and discussion for each class, this course will help prepare you for the issues and decisions you may be facing in relation to aging yourself or supporting your aging loved ones.
