Join us as we seek to cultivate a heart that hungers for God, delights in His promises, and draws strength from a growing relationship with the Author of history and our redeemer. Looking for the latest information? Be sure to check our website... harvestefree.org WORSHIP COORDINATOR Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! (Psalm 133:1) As part of Harvest EFC s transition to two services led by one volunteer group each Sunday, the elder board has prayerfully sensed a need for one point person, a worship coordinator, to help coordinate with me, the variety of music (hymns, contemporary songs, etc.), worship teams, and any creative elements (video, skits, etc.). By having one worship coordinator, the elders feel this will better enhance unity among our church family, as well as ensure we maintain a good variety of types of music (both traditional and contemporary), musicians and other creative folks to use their God-given gifts to help prepare our hearts for corporate worship. This worship coordinator will also continue to work to gather and multiply new worship team members. The elders have crafted a volunteer job description and application, which will be available at the church office (and can be ed upon request or picked up outside the church office). We will receive applications for this volunteer position until March 20 th. This special 4-week course is designed to help you get more familiar with who we are as a church family. These four sessions will cover what we believe, our history, explore the various ministries of our church, and discover how you might get plugged in and use your unique gifts and personality so we can serve our Lord together. This course is perfect for those new to our church, those just exploring who we are, or those who are looking to become committed members of our congregation. Can ordinary, individual people make a difference in this world? Join us as we look into the lives of a young woman, Esther, and her cousin, Mordecai, who chose to believe they could make a difference and so saved a nation! Contact Samantha Frykholm at samlovesyogurt@yahoo.com New Adult Bible Fellowship on 1 John: Join us starting March 12th for a six-week study about how to walk with God as we explore the book of 1 John. The apostle who knew Jesus very well helps us understand how to make his priorities and his values ours as we live our daily lives. The class will meet downstairs in room 031. Five Sunday Morning Adult Classes: We are pleased to offer a variety of classes to our adults during our 9:45-10:45 education time in March. Classes include: Fresh Connections (Room 029E), March 5-26 [adults] Meaning of Marriage (Room 029W), January 8 March 12 [couples] 1 John (Room 031), March 19 April 23 [all adults] Esther (Room 130), March 5 April 2 [women] Missions (High School Room), February 5 April 2 [high school and adults] Connect with others in our life groups! We have a number of life groups at Harvest that and have room for more individuals or couples. If the Spirit has been prodding you to stop procrastinating and check out a life group, this is a perfect time. 3 Page 3 of 5 Sportsmen's Retreat "24 Hours With the Guys" March 23-26, 2017 Do you love the outdoors and enjoy shooting, archery, and hunting? Do you need a break from your job and a chance to get outdoors? If so, check out our Sportsmen s Retreat! Whether you re a veteran marksman or new to shooting, archery, or hunting, you ll have a great time at our Sportsmen s Retreat. Over 650 men from all over the Midwest will join us for this weekend of shooting, fellowship, and delicious food. For this retreat, we ll convert our property to a series of shooting ranges. You ll find indoor and outdoor archery ranges, as well as outdoor ranges for pistols, skeet shooting, small -bore rifles, and high-powered rifles. Some of our ranges will even be open 24 hours/day! If you need a break from the ranges, check out the myriad of other activities available throughout the weekend. We ll plan chapel sessions with great speakers and worship time. There will be a silent auction with outdoor equipment and artwork up for bidding, where all proceeds benefit our outdoor summer programs like Wilderness Camp and Fishing Camp. Bring your gently used items to our Buy/Sell/Trade event to sell, or shop around for something you might need. Consider competing in our Chili Cook-off event to win free registration for the following year s retreat. As always, you can spend time at the pool and hot tub, on the basketball court, or out on a hiking trail as well. Participate in as many or as few events as desired! Don t forget to bring a wild game donation for our cooks. They ll take all the donations, from deer and elk to fish, quail, and even bear! All of those meats will be cooked up for the Wild Game Feed lunch on Saturday afternoon. We d love to see you at Sportsmen s Retreat! Registration will open each November for the following year s retreat. Housing fills up quickly so get signed up early! As of , all Inn rooms have been reserved. As of , all Standard Housing options have been reserved. You can still select "Inn" or "Standard Housing" on your registration form if you're joining a friend who has reserved space for you in their room. You may also call the office at to have your name added to a wait list for Inn or Standard Housing.

They will be completing the pillowcase dresses and working on other non sewing projects like rolling & tearing bandages, and making scripture cards for the Congo, Africa. Materials are provided.

To provide support for the architecture of the child s brain in order to enhance their potential to understand truth and ultimately enter into a life giving, redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ. Strategies Distribute blankets through family support home visiting programs that serve families with infants. These families are typically low-income or have other risk factors. Distribute blankets through other venues/services for families with risks. Distribute blankets through missions work when appropriate. Pray for infants and families as we make and distribute blankets. What We are Asking from You Your prayers: That God will open doors and give wisdom and endurance. Your talents and time: If you sew or would like to learn, we can use you! LADIES NIGHT OUT LADIES, do you need a night away from the norm? Would you like to connect with other women? Then mark your calendars for Friday evening, April 7th, 7-11p! This will be a fun and relaxing evening of fellowship here at the ministry center. So save the date! We would love to have you join us! If you ve never given financially to Harvest online, here is an outline of the process. 1. Click on the Give tab on the website. 2. If you have never given through our website before, you will see a signup screen. Fill in the information. You do not have to give in order to sign up with an and password. 3. Once you have signed up, you can move to the giving screen at that time or any time in the future. 4. For one-time giving, you can pick where the funds will go in the drop down box. 5.
