3 TODAY'S ADVENT READING Today's advent scripture reading will be read by the Michael Freitas Family. SUNDAYS AT 9:00 AND 10:30 AM Christians can t help but notice that public holiday festivities are increasingly and rigorously avoiding any references to the true origin of Christmas. Yet each December, the original Christmas story the most irrepressible narrative in human history keeps intruding on the holidays. Like an uninvited guest, the Christmas Gospel is proclaimed, whether by carol or crèche or candlelight service for all the world to hear. And what a Gospel it is, especially as we see it through the eyes of those who first told this stunning story of the birth of Jesus Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. SUNDAY, DECEMBER 24 A UNIQUE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICES CANDLELIGHT AND COMMUNION FAMILY SERVICES 3:00 & 5:00 PM SOMETHING FOR YOUR KIDS ALL KIDS ARE WELCOME TO BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY SERVICES All kids will receive a goodie bag at the end of service. Our preschoolers will have their own special time including a Birthday Party for Jesus with a story, cupcake, craft and goodie bag. We will have the nursery available for ages 0-5 years. There will be no morning services on Sunday, December 24

Consulting experts on the Bible, archaeology, and messianic prophecy, Lee Strobel searches out the true identity of the child in the manger. MPACT MAIL SERVICE LOCATED IN THE LOBBY Instead of paying the post office, why not use that money to sponsor a girl for Camp this Summer? Starting December 3 - January 7 you can "mail" your cards by leaving them in our own PCC post office in the lobby. You can leave a donation of your postage at the table.

5 HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES HILLTOP CHRISTMAS PROGRAM DECEMBER 14, 6:00 PM MIDDLE SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PARTY DECEMBER 20, 7:00 PM Join us in the Sanctuary as we come together to celebrate our friend Jesus' birth. Share the excitement as we hear our students sing Christmas praises to their King. We are having a Christmas party during our regular Wednesday night service in the Fireside room. Bring them in their PJ's and with their favorite stuffed animal on December 31. We will have a stuffed animal parade, popcorn, Bible lesson and movie for Preschooler and Elementary during the 10:30 AM Kids Church. YOUNG ADULTS CHRISTMAS PARTY DECEMBER 16, 6:00 PM Save the date and join the Freitas Family at their residence for a fun night of tasty food, and Christmas fellowship. DECEMBER 13, 7:00 PM Ugly Sweater Contest/Gingerbread Party Grab the ugliest sweater you can find and some supplies to make the most epic gingerbread house this world has ever seen. DECEMBER 20, 6:30 PM Flannel Christmas Party This will be a night you will look forward to year after year. DJ Jazzy Jonny is making an appearance and there will be an epic white elephant gift exchange. Also, the night wouldn t be a flannel party without a photo booth.
