1 JUNE 25-JULY 1 SERMON SERIES: MIRACLES (THROUGH JULY 23) This is an eight week sermon series based on the book Grave Robber, by Mark Batterson! We will look at the seven miraculous signs of Jesus found in the Gospel of John, showing how miracles are not just simply acts of the past, but also something He wants to do now. "There are miracles all around us all the time," says Mark Batterson, "but you won't see them if you don't know how to look for them." (Amazon Review) SUMMER BOOK STUDY WITH PASTOR JIM WEDNESDAYS 6:30 8:00 PM The Summer Book Study I have chosen is Left, Right and Christ: Evangelical Faith in Politics. I often talk about St. Andrew s being a church that lives in the tension of not always agreeing with each other. Here is a great chance for us to have healthy conversations. Let us read together and learn from each other. Meet us at Beyond Bread at Ina and Oracle! The topic we will be discussing on June 28 is immigration. CLOSE TO HOME High Schoolers, the sign up for Close to Home is NOW on our website. We are getting ready for a few days of service on June 27 at First Church of God, June 28 at Casa Maria with the St. Andrew's shower unit, and June 30 for a diaper shower with one of Lynn's clients. We hope you'll join us for these awesome experiences! SUMMER CHOIR Each Sunday that the choir is scheduled to sing (see schedule below), we will meet in the Choir Room at 10:00 am prior to the Traditional Service and prepare a simple anthem and introit for worship that day. That s it! EVERYONE is welcome and encouraged to participate, including children, families, and friends. Please contact Mark Gary at markg@sapctucson.org or if you have any questions.
