We will meet in the YAC from 6:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Also, we are offering a Soccer Camp July 20th - 22nd, 25th - 26th, from 8:30 AM until 12:00 PM. This is for all rising 2nd - 7th graders. Veritas is a five piece vocal powerhouse who bring a fresh, dynamic twist to the contemporary classical genre. Veritas evolved from a top level of singers at the University of Mobile when the founder of Truth decided to assemble a new Truth ensemble to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the group. We are excited to be hosting Veritas here on Sunday, July 10th. Make your plans to come hear this talented group. YO Nights Students, we have a few more YO Nights this summer. Simply come hang out after the Sunday evening services! Please bring clothes to change into (1 piece bathing suits please) and guys bring a 2-liter drink; girls bring a snack to share. We ll provide everything else! The time will be around 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM. We are hosting these on July 10th (Gibbs or Merritt House), July 17th (McGee House), and July 24th (Randall House). Mission Warner Robins Calling all students! It s not too late to register and be a part of our Mission Warner Robins from July 11th through 15th. We will minister right here in our own community during the day and come back to the church for a time of worship and fun with one another. We will also stay here on church campus during the week. Please pick up a brochure and register today! Portland Mission Trip Our Victory Sports Ministry is taking a second group on mission to Portland, Oregon July 12th through 17th. Portland is the most unreached city in the United States. This group will be partnering with Josh and Amy Carter, church planters from Tennessee, to connect with the community through games and crafts. Most of these children may not know anything about God or the Bible. Please continue to pray for the team as they prepare and go in hopes of introducing Christ to the Portlanders. Please pray for the people they will come in contact with and their openness to hear about Jesus. And keep praying for NAMB missionaries Josh and Amy Carter that through this trip, many more may get connected with their church and learn more about the Gospel. Tasting Grace Ministry Hey ladies! Our Taste & See Ministry is getting a name makeover! We are now called Tasting Grace. This introduction is in the middle of a new book preview Mrs. Jan Morton has co-written with Leah Adams. The book will release on August 1st! It embraces the mentoring aspect of what we currently do even more. Tasting Grace will meet Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 AM. We will actually meet at Mrs. Jan s house as we learn to make blueberry preserves! You must register at the Welcome Center no later than Sunday, July 17th! Also, it is very important you include your address when you register because Mrs. Jan will send out directions to her house via your . Come join us as we learn in the kitchen and from God s Word!

These daily devotions go along exactly with what we are discussing on Sunday mornings. Let s learn how to serve like Jesus.
4 Our INTERCEDE ministry started as a way for us as a church family to pray for our church, the staff, the families within our church, our community, and for us to follow God s leadership as His body. We currently have people praying over all of this for one hour per week. There are 24 hours in a day, and we would LOVE to cover our church and community in prayer every hour of every day. There are a few time slots already reserved, but if these times work best for you, go ahead and sign up in that spot with someone else! We can never pray too much! Come by the Welcome Center and sign up for a time! Let us glorify our God through prayer! Preteen Camp Registration for Preteen Camp is still open, but not for long! This is for all students entering the 5th and 6th grades. We will be going back to the FFA/FCCLA Camp near Covington, GA July 25th through 27th. Our speaker will be our own Pastor Jim Perdue! We will also have Pastor Ben Hunley leading Bible Studies for the boys and Mrs. Leia Hunley leading Bible Studies for the girls! With exciting Bible Studies, fun music, crazy games, and of course the mud obstacle course, Preteen Camp 2016 is going to be loads of fun and will help Preteens learn to let their light shine so they can glorify God! Pick up a brochure in the Grand Lobby and register! Golden Anniversary Dinner We would love to honor you and your spouse at a Golden Anniversary Dinner! This is for anyone who has been married for 50+ years. We will meet in the YAC Auditorium, Friday, July 29th, at 4:30 PM. Please RSVP at the Welcome Center or call the Church Office at This is NO COST to you! Let us celebrate with you and thank you for your example of how to love your spouse! Teacher Recognition Sunday We will also have a Teacher Recognition Sunday on July 31st during our morning service. All teachers from public and private schools are invited to join us for a special time of recognition and prayer. Thank you for teaching our children and helping them grow each year! Teachers pour their lives into their students and make lasting impacts! We are so thankful to have such godly teachers within our congregation and community. Let us honor you as you shine within your school as a witness for the Lord! Wednesday Schedule Beginning Wednesday, August 3rd, we will resume our normal evening schedule. 6 Our Mission: Reclaim 82:3 aims to unify and empower the local Church to be the father to the fatherless in their community and around the world. Our goal is to unite believers in Middle Georgia to take up the call of Psalm 82:3 to Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless... Our Model: Our team comes from a variety of backgrounds and churches, but we all share a common passion; caring for fatherless and vulnerable children. We partner with two national ministries, The Forgotten Initiative and Lifesong for Orphans, and use their successful models in our area. Our Ministries: We seek to serve the foster care community by helping to meet the needs of the children, foster families, case workers, birth families, and group homes. Our ministry to the adoptive community is through an adoption fund to offset costs as well as ongoing training to empower and encourage pre and post adoptive families. Are you or someone you know in the process of adopting? Please contact us about applying for a matching grant to help with the costs. Your Role: Prayer. Are you interested in being a prayer partner? Please begin by praying for foster and adoptive families, the children they serve, as well as the agency workers involved. Contact us if you would like to receive prayer updates via . Families Serving Families. Are you part of a small group, Bible Study, ladies ministry, or Sunday School class? Then you are in the perfect group to wrap around a Houston County foster family and support them on their journey. Simple things like meals, prayers, cards of encouragement, gift cards, occasional yard work or babysitting go a long way toward allowing a foster family to serve longer and serve better. Mentoring Project. Are you interested in a one-on-one relationship with a pre-teen or teen who needs some extra encouragement? Our Mentoring Project will provide the training and DFCS approved process to get you connected to a child who needs an extra adult in their corner. Project Sunshine. Both Hands Projects. Do you enjoy serving others through service projects, light renovations, and home improvements? Throughout the year we serve DFCS, foster families, as well as widows and orphans with special one day projects at their office or homes. Donation Drives. Do you love to give gifts? Periodically, we have donation drives for Christmas gifts, appreciation gifts, diapers, etc. We post these as needed. Birthday Parties & Date Nights. Love to host events and parties? We host regular birthday parties and date nights for foster families, and we always need volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas, please contact us at reclaim823info@gmail.com or ! We will be glad to get you connected! Thank you! Also, our website is
