We are called to prepare for eternal life by the way that we use our time, our talents and our treasure now. The Gospel tells us the precise time, place and person John the Baptist appointed to announce the arrival of our Savior. John tells us how to celebrate this first coming at Christmas and how to prepare for the second coming, through repentance. This Advent, let s turn away from bad habits and turn our hearts and minds back to Christ. This is what the stewardship way of life is all about moving closer in relationship with Christ, ready to celebrate His birth, with eyes fixed on eternal life with Him. Gospel Reflection Try Electronic Giving Summarization from Catholic Stewardship Consultants, Inc December 9, 2018 Stewardship Reflection And this is my prayer, that your love may increase ever more and more in knowledge and every kind of perception, to discern what is of value. ~Philippians 1:9-10 When we take seriously the role of steward, our vision becomes outwarddirected, with a longing to share from our blessings and abundance with those in need. Based on reflections prepared by Rev. Thomas Gentile and the Office of Mission Advancement Forget Me Not Flower Ministry Next weekend we will have 50 poinsettias in the Gathering Space. Each flower will have a card attached with a name and address. We are asking 50 different families to take one flower and deliver it to that person before Christmas.
