2 Welcome to Asbury. We are glad you are here at Asbury today, and hope you will feel God s love in your worship experience. We invite you to note the Asbury Calendar on the back page of the bulletin. Please print your information on the attendance pads and return them to the end of the pew. Girl Scout Promise On my honor, I will try: To serve God and my country, To help people at all times, And to live by the Girl Scout Law Celebration Review Shared Ministries to District and Conference Membership steady (715 at end of 2016) 29 joined in 2016 (13 Professions of Faith, 10 transfers from UMC, 6 from other denominations 10 Baptisms 1 New ministry - Food Pantry (Dec lbs of food feeding 69) Increased Renovation to WAC Stage/Wall trim; Lighting; new soundboard 130 current enrollment in ACCDC - at full capacity (up from 117 in 2016) $8,000 Fundraiser Hog on the Hill had doubled attendance $10,000 ACCDC Fundraiser for improvements to building and outdoors $70,000+ raised to buy Asbury s new Bus!! $297, paid toward Building Mortgage of Asbury UMC due to a legacy trust, with $517, remaining on mortgage (scheduled to be paid in 7 years) Expanded Indian community ministry - hosting a language class
