The Peace Candle on the Communion Table is a reminder to pray for world peace. Everyone has been assigned a Sunday to bring something, based on your birthday month. It doesn t have to be something big or elaborate: fruit, cheese and crackers, veggies, or some bagels---whatever you enjoy. The schedule is to the right, and your birthday month is assigned to one Sunday. If you have a March birthday, for example, you would bring something to share on Sunday, June 10. Parents, your children have a birthday month, too they might like to prepare something to share with their church family that Sunday. If you will be out of town on your Sunday, please try to trade with someone or pick a Sunday and bring something to share.
