Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast to our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have One who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin. Let us, therefore, approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Let us confess our sins to God in silent prayer.

3 SILENT PRAYER PRAYER OF CONFESSION Unison: Gracious God, we confess our need for You this day. On our own, we struggle and fall away from the path You have for us. With Your help, we are made new and given guidance and assurance through faith. Help us to put our trust wholly in You, that we might walk in Your ways and share Your glory with everyone we meet. Thank you for the restoration power of Your grace. In Jesus name we pray. Amen ASSURANCE OF PARDON (Psalm 103:13-18) Leader: As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him; for He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. The life of mortals is like grass, they flourish like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord s love is with those who fear Him, and His righteousness with their children s children with those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts. Sisters and brothers in Christ, believe the good news: you are forgiven. 6 Announcements June 19, 2016 The earth is the Lord's and everything in it, the world and all who live in it. -Psalm 21:1 Giving is an acknowledgement that God owns everything. We are simply stewards. ---Stewardship Committee On Sunday, June 26, you are invited to come share in our remembering and our looking toward the future as Pastor Bruce Baillie retires. We will begin with worship at 9:30 AM at the Steamboat Rock Presbyterian Church. In the afternoon, from 1:00-5:00 PM, there will be a time for fellowship at the Steamboat Rock Boat Club with a short program at 2:00 PM. There will be refreshments, a time for remembering, and we are planning to have a square dance caller with a lot of fun fiddle music by the Baillie kids. We would love to have you join us as we celebrate all that God has done and look forward to all that God will do in the years to come. Grace and Peace to you one and all. The PWC-CT will not meet on June 28, but will meet on Tuesday, July 12, at 1 p.m. in the Lower Lounge.
