The first Picnic Planning Meeting will be Monday, March 12 at 7:00pm in the North Social Hall It is important that all Picnic chairs, Food Chairs, and other Picnic leaders attend this meeting. The next gathering of PrimeTimers is 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 14 at St. Joe Hill Parish Hall to enjoy lunch and games with the group from St. John Paul II. If you would like to carpool, meet at St. Anthony at 10:30 am. Cost for lunch is $7.00. Bring pennies to play Bingo. 4 March 4, Third Sunday of Lent Over 30 High School students participated in Saint Anthony s Youth Ministry Day of Service/Food Fast on February 24. Our day started at 8:00 am and included fasting and providing services throughout the community: sorting and preparing food boxes at Dare To Care; playing instruments and singing for the residents at Riverbend Village; making blankets, babysitting and light cleaning for the kids at St. Elizabeth s Catholic Charities. We finished our day by attending 5:00 pm Mass together and ending our fast with the Eucharist. Please pray for our Saint Anthony seniors Hailey Cocke, Emma Flispart, Brianna Hall and Jackie Tolentino, who are embarking on their Christian Awakening senior retreat on March 6 9. May the presence of God be with them always but especially as they have the most personal encounter with Christ and the power of His love.
