Work of Angels New Albany Deanery Catholic Youth Ministries will be kicking off the annual fundraising campaign with a dinner on August 28 at Huber s Plantation Hall, at 6:00 pm with special guest speaker, Archbishop Charles C. Register your 6th 8th grader for our upcoming Safe Sitter class on September 22, from 9:00 am 3:00 pm to learn the safety skills needed for your student and for the children under their care. The class will be held at Catholic Youth Ministries at Mt. St. Francis. $20 fee. Register by September 14 at nadyouth.org or call for assistance. College-Bound Family Member? An estimated 80% of Catholic students leave the Catholic Church before they turn 23. By informing the local Catholic ministry leaders on or near any of the 2,000 public and Catholic campus nationwide through The Newman Connection, a college student will be found and contacted and then know there is a place for them in the church, meet Catholic friends and grow in their faith! The Athletics Committee has a few open positions. This is a great way to help our parish athletes and earn your service hours! Track Coaches Needed We are also looking for volunteers to coach boys and girls track. Teams will be split, boys and girls, grades 3/4/5 and 6/7/8.
