3 Dear Parishioners, I need your help. This past week a number of parishioners called the Parish Office saying they did not receive the monthly packet of church envelopes for December. In the past occasionally we received one or two calls about it and we would chalk it up to the mail delivery. This time, however, the calls are many and the December packet of envelopes contains offerings for the Christmas Remembrance at Midnight Mass, Christmas plant donations and the vital My Christmas Gift To My Church envelope. We have contacted the church envelope company to find out what s going on and they are not certain. Temporary envelopes have been mailed to those who called this week and we will gauge the situation. If you have not received your church envelope packet this month and/or in the recent past, please call Pat at the front desk (extension 0) and let her know your full address and envelope number. I kindly ask everyone to use the extra envelopes located on the tables in the Gathering Space for your offering this Christmas and I thank you for all you do for the parish throughout the year. Your sacrifical giving is most appreciated. And, for those who are new in the parish please support Our Lady of the Snows weekly by using the white Welcome envelopes on the tables and we will contact you about parish registration. God bless you and thank you! Ever Ancient Ever New Our Lady of the Snows R. C. Church RECITATION OF THE ROSARY takes place each morning in the church before the 9AM Mass. VOCATIONS THOUGHT The Parish Vocations Committee would like to share the following Advent reflection. May we may be able to find silent moments that help us better discern God's will in our lives! "Silence is a gift that we can give to ourselves in the middle of this noisy season. And silent prayer is something we can all afford it costs nothing. Of course many people parents of young children, children of aging parents, and people with hectic working lives may not have much time to spare, but even a few minutes of quiet may help to center oneself. In busy times it s important to let quiet be your prayer.... Sometimes people feel guilty for taking a break in the weeks before Christmas there s often so much to do. But think of silence as a gift you give not only to yourself but to God, who wants to meet you in the silence as you wait for Jesus to enter your heart in a new way this Advent." (Excerpted from Give is This Day, December 2017, Teach Us to Pray by Fr. James Martin, S.J. p.7.) SCHOOL SCHEDULES.
