Rooted in the celebration of the Eucharist, we go forth to serve, to educate, and to live daily the message of Jesus Christ.

2 HOLY FAMILY PARISHIONERS: Did you see the graphic at the bottom of the front cover of this bulletin? It shows the three Magi figures bowing in worship. To me, that is a very powerful picture. Three humans giving adoration to the Divine made Flesh. That scene of the Magi visiting Jesus in the stable can draw us to reflect on several things, I think: ONE---do we sincerely & consistently give true worship to the Lord? How is our Mass attendance? How strong is our dedication to our Savior? TWO---do we subject ourselves to Jesus Christ? Or do we play God as we daily live, thinking we are in charge? THREE---do we gift the Lord born at Bethlehem with our time, talent, & treasure, as the Magi gifted the Lord? FOUR---do we take time & trouble to visit the Lord each day in prayer, as the Magi traveled many arduous & dangerous miles to visit Jesus? FIFTH---do we reveal the Lord through what we say & do, as the gifts revealed the Lord to the world? Let us this Epiphany Sunday dedicate ourselves to making the Savior evermore known, felt, & celebrated. Let us continue to be those MAGI people in today s world FATHER JOE P.S. Please pray for Brody Heinz, a 7th grader at Holy Family Catholic School, who has RMS, a rare & aggressive cancer. He is in treatment. Let us as a parish pledge our support & prayers for him. May the healing power of Jesus Christ be upon him, & may his parents be given the strength they need. We are behind you 100%, Brody! Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Classes for those interested in joining the Catholic faith begin in the fall of each year and continue through the Easter season.
