The current indoor Christmas decorations put up each year at St. Mary s Tipton, were first all done by Norm and Marilyn Kotz, trees, swags, wreaths, etc. About 12 years ago Mike and Diane Wehde, along with their two daughters, Maggie and Miranda, took over this job. After both girls graduated, the Wehde's continued to decorate with the help of the high school students on the Wednesday evening following The Feast of the Immaculate Conception. This year there will be a few new decorations with funding provided by the Women of St. Mary s. The outdoor decorations were done for years by Ray and Margaret Crock, with the current nativity being used, which was built by Ed Stockman. After the Crock s, their daughters Teresa Wulf and Diane Wehde, along with her husband, Mike, continue this tradition. A huge thank you to all of you, past and present, who have contributed your time and talent in making our parish a beautiful and festive place to worship! Annual Gala Fundraiser is March 2 nd More information to come in January!

3 Mary Barnum, DRE TIPTON Knights Corner 3 Thank you to all who worked together to make the Third day of Advent and the annual Nativity Re-enactment and Cookie reception a beautiful celebration, especially the catechists and helpers there Sarah Tucker, Sean Bechtold, Hannah Tucker, Kael Jauron, Paulette Meier, Joy Kessler, Eli Jauron, Lisa Dircks, Mary Jo Williams, Dale Jedlicka, Jamie Meyer! Thank you to all who brought cookies! Thank you to the Faith Formation Commission members Ann Meyer, JoAnn Chizek, Cindy Kunde, Scott Mosier, Mary Jo Williams and Mary Ellen Marchik and past member Dale Jedlicka for their work all year and for the running of the reception! Students from Kindergarten through the Confirmation Class participated in many ways for a truly joyful morning. Adults who would like to sing in the Christmas Eve Choir or Christmas Day Mass may contact Mary Barnum by the end of day morning Mass (December 23) as we will rehearse once more immediately following Mass. Best wishes for a blessed and merry Christmas to all! 5th day Rosary- The Knights of Columbus will be leading the Rosary on day, Dec 30 starting at 9:40 am. On January 6 th, the Knights of Columbus Tipton council #11468 will be holding its annual Free Throw contest. It will take place from 11a.m. - noon in the 1952 gym at the Tipton High School.
