On epember 4, 2018, he Ninh ircui our of ppeals ruled on he case Rober Marin v. iy of Boise, saing ha enforcing ani-camping ordinances when adequae sheler beds are unavailable is unconsiuional. Because of ha ruling, he acrameno ouny Deparmen of Parks sopped enforcing he iy of acrameno s ani-camping ordinance and he ouny ordinance prohibiing camping wihou a permi. ince January 2018, acrameno ouny rangers have issued 1,834 ciaions for unlawful camping under he ouny ordinance, and 224 ciaions for unlawful camping under he iy of acrameno ordinance.
