SUMMARY Neither people of the country know anything about this organization that is breeding jihadies across the world, nor is media able to sniff anything foul about dangerous activities of Tablighi Jamaat. How many people in the country know that its headquarters is in a mosque in the Nizamuddin area of Delhithe national capital? The organization has its activities spreading across 159 countries that is spreading terror and involved in conversion activities from the past nine decades. As per the US intelligence agency, Federal Bureau of Investigation, the number of supporters of this organization has been told to crore. This jihadi organization is making a big number of terrorists available in America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Are intelligence agencies aware about its shenanigans? The Supreme Court of India has recently ruled that having more than one wife for any Muslim government official is unlawful. The court ruled that the government banning its officials for having two wives does not violate Section 25 of the constitution. Marrying more than once cannot be a Fundamental Right. A Muslim official of the agriculture department in the Uttar Pradesh government filed an appeal in the SC against the decision of the Allahabad High Court which validated his termination from the services on ground of marrying more than once. The SC upheld the high court's decision. The official argued in his petition that Islam allows four marriages and in such a situation the government law of having one wife cannot be applicable on him for being a Muslim. He has been given constitutional right to behave as per his religious belief under Section 25 of the constitution. So he could have more than one wife. The argument of the petitioner was rejected by both the courts. The SC justified his termination from the government job. Whosoever comes in power at the Centre, radical elements continue with their anti-national activities. Recently an organization of the Central government National Council for Promotion of Urdu splurged government money on glorifying ill famous Islamic jihadi terrorist Shah Waliullah. This is the same Jihadi who had persuaded Ahmed Shah Abdali to attack India to wipe out Maratha Kingdom. Interesting thing is that the Central government has done Islamisation of this institution after its reconstitution. The annual budget of this organization is Rs 100 crore that the Centre government provides. For the first time in the past three decade, not a single non-muslim has been included in this council. After the death of king of Saudi Arabia Shah Abdulla, the rein of the kingdom has gone in the hands King Salman and he selectively removed pro-us people in the government. Pakistani Army General Raheel has been given the highest honour of Saudi Arabia showing India the mirror. Islamic education has been included in the curriculum in Turkey after 90 years. People of Turkey did not like this change in education so violent protests started in the country against Islamisation of education. Pressure is being put on the Turkey government to cancel this Islamic education in the school curriculum. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

NATIONAL I Glorifying Islamic jihadi Shah Waliullah Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on February 16 reported that National Council for Promotion of Urdu and Delhi Youth Welfare Association tried to glorify Shah Waliullah through a seminar. This is to recall that Hajrat Shah Waliullah Muhaddits Dahlawi was the person who had invited ruler of Afghanistan Ahmed Shah Abdali to attack India. The purpose was to end the growing influence of Maratha and Jat in India with the help of a foreign ruler. Abdali slaughtered Marathas and Jats in battle of Panipat. His son Abdul Aziz issued Fatwa Azizia to establish Islamic rule in India and advocated killing of kafirs (non-believers). The strangest thing was that lakhs of rupees were splurged on such a controversial person while the fund was provided by the Central government. Addressing the seminar, Prof Ibban Kabal of the Urdu department of Delhi University said that madarsa education at the time of Shah Waliullah was entirely different. Students were getting education of every subject not just of Quran. He said that works of Shah Waliullah have been included in curriculum. He also claimed that the movement started by Shah Waliullah contributed to the freedom struggle of the country. Another Prof of Delhi University Abdul Haq suggested that a school must be set up in Jamia Milia Islamia University in the name of Shah Waliullah Muhaddits Dahlawi. President of Arabic Teachers Association Prof Nauman Khan claimed that Shah Waliullah was secular but wanted dominance of Islam. Several research papers were presented about Shah Waliullah in the seminar. According to Roznama Rashtriya Sahara, National Council for Promotion of Urdu was reconstituted by the Union HRD ministry. For the first time in the history of the council not a single non-muslim member was included in it. Provision of Rs 100 crore has been made in the budget for this institution. Muzaffar Hussain is the vice president of the newly reconstituted council while its president is Union HRD minister Smriti Irani. People nominated in the council included Shama Khan (Delhi), Mohammad Shakeel (Rajasthan), P A Inamdar (Pune), Rafiq Bhandari (Bijapur), Prof Khurshid Anwar (Muzaffarpur), Dr Nusrat Mehndi (Bhopal), Prof Mohammad Iqbal (Delhi), Mohammad Soaib Qasmi (Delhi), Prof Sagir Ibrahim (Aligarh), Prof Soaib Inayat Malik (Jammu), Syed Mohammad Ashraf (Kolkata), Ishattam Afridi (Varanasi), Manvari Begum (Tamil Nadu), Prof Akhtarul Risa, Commissioner, minority institutions, Kalim Ansar (Uttarakhand), Shakib Kidwai (Aligarh), Hafiz Muzzaffar (Srinagar), Shaista Yusuf (Bangalore), Haji Mohammad Iqbal Khan (Delhi) and Mujiruddin (Hyderabad). Different governments nominated members for the National Council for Promotion of Urdu that included people from every community but the committee constituted in 2015 has only Muslim members. This is to recall that Urdu Development Board was constituted in 1997 during the time of Prime Minister PV Narsimha Rao by the then Union HRD minister Arjun Singh. Its budget was decided at Rs 50 lakh at that time. Later on its name was changed to Urdu Promotion Council and its budget was India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

increased to Rs 10 crore. During the time of Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the then director Hamid Bhatt provided some suggestions to the chairman of the board Dr Murali Manohar Joshi that free education centers should be opened across the country for Urdu and Persian but finance ministry turned down the proposal. It was argued that this institution was set up for the promotion of Urdu therefore centers for Urdu and Persian cannot be opened. At present this promotion council is running two-year diploma courses at centers while there are centers for Persian and Urdu. There is a plan to open 2300 new centers. Last year 270 non-government institutions donated Rs 1 crore to organize seminars and talks. Something interesting to note that during the tenure of Dr Joshi, Union home ministry expressed its concern sighting intelligence reports that National Urdu Promotion Council had provided financial assistance to such organizations that had connection with radical Islamic organizations. The home ministry requested the council that they must be reviewed and financial assistance should be provided to only such organizations which were recommended by district magistrate or state intelligence department. Despite such suggestions these centers and institutions were not reviewed. II Properties worth crores to be handed over to Waqf Board Sahafat on February 3 reported that the government started investigation into the matter of handing over 123 properties to Waqf Board on petition of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. The total worth of these properties is around Rs 60,000 crore and this property was given to Delhi Waqf Board by the Uttar Pradesh government. Union urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu said that a delegation met him in this regard. The delegation said that in January 2014, urban development ministry under the UPA government de-notified 123 properties and handed them over to Delhi Waqf Board. This decision was taken by the government in March 2014 just a day before the general elections were announced. These properties were acquired by the British government between 1911 and 1915 which was challenged by the VHP in Supreme Court. An official of the ministry informed about the VHP challenging it in the court. The VHP is saying that the government cannot hand them over to waqf board just by de-notifying it. Out of 123 properties, 61 are in possession of urban development ministry while rest of them is in possession of the DDA. When the matter was taken up in the meeting of Central Waqf Board, the then minister responsible for waqf properties Salman Khurshid informed that the matter would be sorted out soon. The high court instructed the government to short them out earliest possible. A committee was constituted in this regard by the minority affairs ministry in which members from the Central Waqf Board were also included. The committee recommended that the government must hand over these properties to the Delhi Waqf Board. This recommendation was also approved by the then Attorney General Ghulam Ahmed Vahanvati. This is to recall that after a campaign run by the Muslim organizations in 1984 the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

instructed that these immovable properties should be handed over to the waqf board. The VHP got stay from the court protesting the decision. The matter continued in the court for 27 years but in 2011 the high court vacated the stay instructing the government to make a policy on these properties and must get free such properties from illegal occupation. These government properties are spread across in Connaught Place, Mathura Road, Lodhi Road, Ashok Road, Janpath, Parliament, Karol Bagh, Sadar Bajar, Daryaganj and Jangpura. III No increase in Haj quota for India Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on February 5 reported that Saudi Arabia refused to increase the quota of India for haj pilgrims. This year also the Saudi Arabia government allowed only 1.36 lakh haj pilgrims to observe Haj. A pact was signed between Union minister of state for External Affairs and Haj minister of Saudi Arabia Bander Bin Hajar. Under this pact one lakh hajis are sent through Haj Committee while 36 thousand are sent through private tour operators. This is to recall that between 2012 and 2013, Haj quota for India was 1.70 lakhs and after that reduction in quota started. The Saudi Arabia government gave clarification that since expansion of Kaba was underway therefore 20 per cent reduction in the number of hajies was enforced for every country. Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on February 4 reported that every embassy has been instructed that it must not open Haj mission office. According to sources in Saudi Arabia government, such offices indulge in extortion of Hajies. Several Islamic countries have opened Haj Mission in Mecca, Madina and Jeddah therefore the Saudi Arabia government decided to ban them. IV Controversy erupts over Surya Namaskar According to Roznama Rashtriya Sahara (February 5), education department of Rajasthan made Surya Namaskar, yoga and meditation compulsory for the 1.25 lakh schools. After 20 minets of prayers in the school, students would have to participate in Surya Namaskar and yoga. Muslim organizations opposed this government decision. General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama e Hind Mehmood Madni said that Muslims would not accept Surya Namaskar at any cost because this was against Islam. The decision of the Rajasthan Government was against the Constitution and the Supreme Court ruling. He claimed that the Sun was considered as deity in Hindu religion and was worshipped while as per Islam it was not allowed to bow before anyone except Allah. He said that if the Rajasthan government did not withdraw it, Muslims would go to court. He alleged that Narendra Modi claimed Sabka Saath, Sabka India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Vikad before the Lok Sabha elections but now Hindu customs were being imposed on Muslims. Muslims would not tolerate it. On the other hand education minister of the state said that yoga and Surya Namaskar did not have anything to do with religion. They are an attempt to keep students healthy. Secretary of Muslim Mahasabha Yunush Chobdar said, The decision of the Rajasthan government was interference into the matters of Muslims therefore we would oppose it vehemently. State president of Jamate Islami Khurshid Ahmed said, 'This was an unnecessary interference into the religious matter of Muslims. We would complain against it in the minority commission. V Foreigner arrested from madarsa According to Munsif (February 1), the police arrested 40 foreigners from Hyderabad by raiding madarsa. They were living there illegally. They belonged to the different parts of Africa and getting Islamic education from different Islamic madarsa. As per the police, they were arrested from Alahsat colony and Yusuf Tekri colony. Out of 40 students, visa of 10 students expired while 30 did not even have any visa or passport. Arrested students belonged to Somalia, Namibia and Sudan. Spokesperson of the police said that they were arrested after the intelligence input. He said that the police got this information that in an Islamic madarsa of the city big numbers of people were living without visa and passport. The government also started search operation in other parts of the state. VI AIMIM spreads its wings in Uttar Pradesh Sahafat on February 13 reported that All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslemin intensified its preparation to contest 2017 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. The party claimed to have made 1 lakh new members in Uttar Pradesh. MLA from Char Minar area of Hyderabad Ahmed Pasha Qadri informed about this online membership by saying that Dalits and Muslims were disillusioned with the BSP and the SP so people were joining the new party. Convener of the party Saukat Ali said that AIMIM build its organizational structure in 49 districts of the state while the work for setting up booth level committees were on in 15 districts. Saukat Ali said that the Samajwadi Party did not want AIMIM to eat into its Muslim votes so it did not allow national president of AIMIM Asaduddin Owaisi to hold a rally in Azamgarh. Workers of the AIMIM were being threatened and frightened. But the SP would not succeed in its design. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

VII A cow loving Muslim family According to Sahafat (February 2), there is a cow loving Muslim family in the Beed district of Maharashtra. This family has 165 cows and calves. Interesting thing is that this butcher family neither kills cow nor sells cow meat. The family of Shabir is busy serving cows day and night. The family started rearing cows from 1970s when he saw a butcher taking two cows to slaughter house to kill them. He bought them and kept them with him. After two years he bought 10 more cows from butchers. Looking at their affection for cows, farmers from the area hand over their old cows to this family. The family sells cow dung to the farmers of the area which is used as manure for their fields. 55- year-old Shabir of Bandi village of Beed district told reporters that he did not sell milk rather allows cows to feed their calves. He considers these cows as part of his family and when any cow or calf dies it feels like a family member had died. He sells cows and bulls to farmers at a very reasonable prize but seeks assurance from them that if cow stops giving mild and bull grows old, don't sell them to butcher rather hand them over to him. He accepts that it becomes difficult to manage fodder during drought. Last year three animals died due to lack of fodder and this always haunts him. He said that earnings from selling cow dung were enough for his family to meet daily expanses. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Special Report on Tabligi Jammat Cover Story Tablighi Jamaat involved in mass production of Jihadies Over a year old ongoing cold war between the two groups of Tablighi Jamaat that prepares jihadi is now out in the open. Inquilab on February 1 published a five-column news report very prominently. The newspaper reported that hundreds of people from Mewat region caused ruckus in Tablighi office. According to the newspaper, after the death of chief of Jamat Maulana Juber Kandhalvi, the organization was divided in two groups. One group wanted to make Maulana Sadat its chief while the other group wanted to make son of the late chief of Jamat Maulana Jaheer as its chief. Just to avoid the dispute, a committee was set up in which leaders from both the groups were included. Newspaper reported that hundreds of supporters of Maulana Jahid Mewati, who put his strength behind Maulana Sadat, attacked and beaten up Maulana Jahir. After this incidence Headquarters of Jamaat huge number of people from the Nizamuddin Basti gathered and tried to make people from both the sides to understand. Over a dozen of people got injured in this scuffle. It is said that attackers were led by MLA from Nooh of the Mewat region Zakir Hussain, former MLA Aftab Ahmed, MLA from Firozpur Jharka Memon Khan and another former MLA Mohammad Ilyas. One of the leaders of the attackers Maulan Zahid said, Since supporters of Maulana Jahir were opposing Maulana Sadat, so we want to drive away Maulana Jahir. We cannot tolerate any protest against our leader. Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on February 1 reported this news very prominently and claimed that supporters of Maulana Sadat entered into the room of deputy chief of Tablighi Mission and beaten up Maulana Jahir. Though the police was present there but they did not interfere into the matter. However, not a single office bearer of Tablighi Jamaat was ready to speak. According to Sahafat (February 5), Maulana Sadat's group organized a big gathering in Delhi in which Maulana Jahir's group did not participate. Tablighi Jamaat in terrorist activity According to American intelligence agency FBI, Tablighi Jamaat is an organization preparing Jihadi network across the globe. The organization has its branches in 159 countries and has followers to the India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Cover Story tune of crores. In the last five decades, over 25 crore people have been converted to Islam due to the efforts made by Tablighi Jamaat. These new Muslims are mostly from Europe, America, Africa and Asia. According to FBI, this is the biggest organization that prepares jihadi across the globe. Terrorists prepared by this organization are later recruited in over three dozen organizations including Al Qaida, Boko Haram, Al Ansar and Taliban. FBI expressed its concern in the report that influence of this organization was increasing in Europe and America by the day. The report also says that the most dangerous organization for the peace of the world work silently and away from the media glares. So the activity of this organizations and people working for this organization largely remains unnoticed by the intelligence agencies. British Newspaper Security Weekly on January 23, 2008 published a report by the two investigative journalists Fred Burton and Scott Stewart in which it was claimed that Spain police arrested 14 terrorist by raiding a mosque on January 19, 2015 in Barcelona. Huge cachet of arms and ammunition were recovered from them. Minister of Spain Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba told reporters that arrested people have relation with Islamic terrorist organization Tablighi Jamaat. Out of total 14 people arrested from the mosque, 12 were Pakistani, one was Indian and one was Bangladeshi. The same newspaper also claimed that seven terrorists related to Tablighi Jamaat were arrested in October 2002 in Portland in the US. In September 2002, six people were arrested in Lakwana for terror related cases. Jamat was also found indulged in the conspiracy to blow up a plane that was supposed to fly from London to US in Jamat was also held responsible for the bomb blast in London Metro on July 7, Scotland Yard confirmed that there was the hand of this organization in bomb blasts in London and Glasgo in July What is Tablighi Jamaat? A few people and media are aware that this deadly organisation's headquarters is in a mosque of in the Nijamuddin area of Delhi. Arya Samaj started Sudhdhi Campaign to bring back such people to Hindu fold who were forcefully converted to Islam. This movement was led by the main saint of Arya Samaj Swami Shradhdhanand and the campaign was started from the Mewat region that is close to Delhi. Muslims living in this region are called Meo who were forcefully converted to Islam by the Muslim ruler of Delhi Ghiyas ud din Balban. Interesting thing is that over 1000 years have passed but these Rajput Muslims were unable to detach themselves from the Hindu culture, customs and religion. Diwan of Alver state Major Powlet wrote in the gazette of the state (1878) that though every Mao is Muslim but they are Muslims for the name sake. They still have great Swami Shraddhananda India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Cover Story impact of Hindu religion and culture on them. They even have names like Krishna Singh, Bishan Singh, Ram Singh, Hanuman Singh, Shiv Pratap Singh and their women have names like Rajkanwar, Ramkanwar ans Shyamkanwar. Despite being Muslims, they openly worship Hindu gods and goddesses. They celebrate Hindu festivals and regularly visit temples and do idol worship. Holi and Ramnavmi are their main festivals. Most of them neither offer namaj nor go to mosque. They don't even know Kalma and Quran. They don't even marry their girls into the same gotra and like Muslims they don't marry their daughters and sons to close relatives. Marriage ceremony is generally performed by Hindu priest. Besides that they openly observe some Rajput rituals openly and they don't eat cow meat. Sudhdhi campaign majorly impacted Maos and hundreds of Maos became Hindus again relinquishing Islam. With the attempt made by Arya Samaj people from Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Gujarat forcefully converted to Islam were brought back to Hindu fold. This was not liked by the radical Muslims. One fanatical Muslim Abdul Rashid killed Swami Shradhanand in his ashram in Naya Bajar area of Delhi Bhopal Ijtema in 1926 by stabbing him. Sitaram Goal in his book 'Muslim Separatism' held Tablighi Jamaat responsible for it. Goal alleged in his book that in the riots that occurred in 1992 several temples were set on fire in Mewat region that was also handiwork of Tablighi Jamaat. Mumtaz Ahmed in his book Muslim Fanaticism in South Asia expressed his opinion that Tablighi Jamaat had its hands in inciting riots. Sahil Mayaram in his book 'Resisting Racism' expressed his opinion that terrorist background of Tablighi Jamaat is linked to the Wahabi movement of Syed Ahmed Barelwi and Firazi Movement of Shariyat Ullah. It is also alleged in the book that for the Tablighi movement to start in India, Maulana Ilyas got huge financial assistance from the foreign source. In reaction to the Sudhdhi movement of Arya Samaj, resident of Kandhla in Uttar Pradesh Maulana Mohammad Ilyasi started Tablighi Jamaat in 1926 from Masjid Banglewala in the Nizamuddin area of Delhi with the financial assistance of the foreign countries. Maulana Ilyas is associated with the Sunni sect of Islam and belongs to Deoband school of Islam. He also has relations with Wahabi and Salafi sects of Islam. He got Islamic religious education from Darul Uloom, Deoband. He used to teach at Majar ul Uloom situated in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. He gave a new slogan to Muslims Muslims! Become Muslims! After that his entire emphasis was on to stop Maulana Ilyas Kandhalvi India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Cover Story Sudhdhi Movement and to inculcate and expand Wahabi and Jihadi ideology among Muslims. His entire family was associated with the Jihad and terrorist ideology from the very beginning. Exponent of the movement was famous Jihadi of 16th century, Maulana Mujahiduddin Sarhindi. Several jihadis were born out of this tradition. Teacher of Maulana Ilyas was Rashid Ahmed Gogoi, who was associated with founder of Darul Uloom, Deoband, Maulana Qasim Navatnavi. In 1946, the group spread its wings in several countries of the world. After the partition of the country Pakistani Tablighi Jamaat was set up in Raybind near Lahore. In 1949 another centre was started in Dhaka. In two decades, this organization has spread its wings in Asia, Africa, Europe and America. Its office in England was started in Dewsbury in This was the centre from where all the activities of Tablighi Jamaat of Europe were being run. American headquarters of the Tablighi Jamaat is in New York. There are over 11 thousand mosques of Tablighi Jamaat in America and Europe. Tablighi Jamaat started expanding its operations in the Muslim dominated areas of Soviet Russia but looking at its dangerous activities Kyrgyzstan government banned it. Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan banned it earlier. After the death of Mohammad Ilyas reins of the organisation have passed on to his son Maulana Mohammad Yusuf and after the death of Yusuf his son Maulana Inamul Hussain was made chief of the organisation who died in March But anointment of his son Maulana Jahirul Hasan as chief of the party was being opposed by certain section and a committee of seven members was constituted to look into the affairs of the Tablighi Jamaat. How does Tablighi Jamaat work? How does Tablighi Jamaat work is still a secret? No one knows that how this international organization is being coordinated. From where this organization gets money to manages its affairs? Intelligence agencies from across the world tried to unravel secrets of this mysterious organization but they failed to achieve anything. But the organization has been managing big gatherings in different parts of the country in which over 35 to 40 lakh people participated. These programmes are organized for one to two weeks. No one knows the source of that uncounted money spent on these programmes. As far as India is concerned, only last year 33 big functions were organized in which number of Muslims participants were estimated at 10 lakh to 25 lakhs. Such programmes were also organized in other countries. Last year in Dhaka, an international conference was organized in which it was claimed that 40 lakh people participated. This year a conference at Rawalpindi had the gathering of 25 lakh people and similar conferences are organized in European and African countries. Media is kept out Vishva Ijtema at Dhaka India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Cover Story of these conferences and it is claimed that these conferences are purely for expansion of Islam. However, Jihad and terrorism has been part of the religion from the very beginning. As per sources in Jamat, expansion of Islam and inclusion of non-muslims to Islam was being done in a planned manner. Mosques spreading across the world are testimony to it where after Friday prayer, a sermon is given emphasizing the fact that every Muslim must give at least one month in a year for the expansion of Islam. It is expected from every Muslim that he must live for a month in a mosque. It is the responsibility of the local Muslims to take care of their food and other needs. Arrangements are made for everybody willing to take Tablighi training at Muslim household as guests. Imam and Ulama give sermon from morning to night in which threat posed to Islam is told to them and it is also told them that Muslims and Islam are in danger. If Muslims did not realize, the very existence of Muslims and Islam would be over. Besides this expansion of Islamic Rule across the world is presented in a glorified manner so it could be sinked into their minds. It is also propagated in special meetings about nonbelievers campaign to finish off Islam and torture of Muslims. These sessions are of purely brainwashing, it is emphasized that to save Islam and to restore its past glory, it is the duty of every Muslims to take swords for jihad. The person who causes confusion over this matter defies orders of Prophet Mohammad and is not a true Muslim but an infidel. It is also taught in these meetings that it is their pious duty to convert non-muslims to Islam. If they want to go to heaven, it is their responsibility to convert at least 10 non-muslims to Islam. Otherwise when the last day Allah will ask that why you did not try to bring non-muslims to Islam you would have no answer and you would be thrown in hell for ever. People associated with Tablighi Jamaat People would be surprised to know that personalities associated with Tablighi Jamaat included former President of India Dr Zakir Hussain, Maulana Mohammad Ali and Saukat Ali, president All India Congress Committee Dr Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari, founder of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Navab Bahadur Yar Jung, founder of Jamate Islami Maulana Abul Hasan Madudi, Sheikhul Islam, Maulana Muhammad Hussain, Dr Mohammad Iqbal, Sheikh Abdullah, Mirwaiz Yousuf Shah, President of Muslim League Muhammad Ismail and Muslim thinker Maulana Wahiduddinn Khan. Besides these people, former president of Pakistan Zia ul Haque, former chief minister of Pakistani Punjab Pervez Ilahi gave 75 canal of land to Tablighi Jamaat in 2011 to set a centre in Raiwind. Several chiefs of Pakistani intelligence agencies General Javed Nasir, General Mehmood Ahmed, Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Yusuf, Saqlain Mustaq, Inzamam-ul Haque, Mustaq Ahmed, Saed Anwar, Waqar Yunus are some of the important people. It is said that there was hands of Tablighi Jamaat in converting Mohammad Yusuf to Islam from Christianity. Interesting thing is that famous terrorist Hafiz Mohammad Sayeed is also associated with this organization only. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

WORLD I Islamic education in schools of Turkey opposed Sahafat on February 15 reported that protests organized in Turkey against introduction of Islamic education in schools intensified. Students boycotted schools. Police arrested several people protesting against the government. The police lathicharged on people protesting against the government decision at Asmer and Ankara. After pro-islamic people coming to power in Turkey, Islamic education was resumed in schools of the country after 90 years. Boys and girls would be given Islamic education separately which has been made compulsory. As per the government spokesperson, arrangements were made to give Islamic education to 10 lakh students. This is to recall that in 1924, Kamal Ataturk banned Islamic education in schools. Besides this he banned education of Arabic and Persian and Turkish language was taught in Roman script instead of Arabic. Last year after pro-islam political parties came to power education of Islam was once again started in schools. This is being opposed by secularists. According to Azizulhind (February 15), a Christian Padre Azmat Goviz opposed that her daughter was being forced Islamic education in the school. On the contrary school managers are saying that Islamic education has been made compulsory in the country by the pro-islamic government ever since it has come to power. It has been made compulsory for girls to wear scarf in the school. The Turkish government has decided to implement Islamic culture across the country. Alawi Sect also alleged that Islamic education is forcefully thrust on minorities that would not be tolerated. II Award to exponent of Islam Sahafat on February 5 reported that the Saudi Arabia government decided to give away Shah Faisal award to an Islamic missionary Dr Zakir A Naik. This award would be given to some other people as well. In this award, a gold medal of 200 gram is given and 7.5 lakh Saudi Riyal in cash is given to the winner. This is to recall that Dr Naik is an MBBS by profession but he has been propagating Islam across the world since He runs a TV channel called Peace TV. III Foreign students banned in madarsa Azizulhind on February 14 reported that the Pakistan government banned foreign students in the India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

religious madarsas. This decision was viewed as to check growing terrorist activities in the country. The Pakistan government also decided that every Madarsa would have to register itself and auditing would be done for every expanse. According to the government report, 26 cases have been filed for providing assistance to terrorist organization and 32 people have been arrested in this regard. Home ministry has found information about 233 suspected terrorists associated with banned organisations. Besides this the police handed over a list of 2094 people having links with terrorist organizations but no arrest has been made so far. Spokesperson of the Pakistan home ministry said that 35 thousand people having links with terrorist organizations have been arrested so far. The Pakistan government also decided to hear cases of terrorist in Army courts and it has been decided to raise anti-terror force. For this five thousand people in Punjab, three thousand in Khaibar Pakhtunia and 800 people in Sindh are being recruited and trained. IV Muslim missionary arrested in Norway According to Urdu Times (February 4), a court in Norway decided to expel a Muslim extremist Imam of Iraqi origin from the country. According to the newspaper, Mullah Majimuddin Farah Ahmed started an extremist Muslim organization Ansar ul Islam in This organization is alleged to be encouraging terrorism is Europe. The organizations threatened to kill Norwegian prime minister and several other leaders. For this a court ruled him three years imprisonment around three years ago but he was released after two years and 10 months. The police in its report also claimed that Imam was inciting terrorism in the state. He was made house arrest in his village. This Imam got education from a madarsa in Pakistan and had gone to Iraq and there he started spreading Islamic terrorism. He was sentenced to death during Saddam Hussain's regime but he escaped and reached Norway. The court ordered house arrest to him in a small village and instruction was given that he must not step out of the village. The local police had to report every day. Now, another court ruled to throw him out of the country which was challenged by him in another court. V 183 Islamic terrorist sentenced to death in Egypt Urdu Times on February 4 reported that an Egyptian court sentenced 183 supporters of Muslim Brotherhood for attacking a police station. The Supreme Court of the country also endorsed it. According to the government sources, in August 2013 supporters of the dethroned president of Egypt Mohammad Morsi attacked two police stations and killed 13 police officials. After this incident, radical jihadies started nationwide violent protest. Hundreds of terrorists were killed in the police firing and India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

the police arrested 140 people. Now, the court sentenced death to 183 people and the court sentenced 370 people for attacking police stations. European Union condemned these sentences and demanded from the Egyptian government that people sentenced to death must be pardoned. It was also criticized to the fact that there are over 15 thousand people related to Muslim Brotherhood lodged in jail illegally. VI Saudi women jailed for driving car Hindustan Express on February 14 reported that Saudi Arabia government imprisoned two women for violating the ban on women to drive. They were released from jail after 70 days. These women included 25-year-old Al Jeen Hind and 33-year-old Misha al Ahmaudi. It is said that earlier the government wanted to run the case against them in anti-terror court but the government was forced to release them due to reaction across the world on the issue. Al Jeen al Hind was arrested on December 1 when she entered Saudi Arabia driving from UAE while Misha al Ahmidi is a journalist of Arabic language. She was arrested when she reached there to protest against the arrest of her friend Al Jeen al Hind. There is a ban on women to drive in Saudi Arabia and only men get driving license. VII Anti-Islamic protest in Austria Hindustan Express on February 4 reported that an anti-muslim protest was organized in Vienna in which five thousand people participated. This protest was organized by the Freedom Party. This party got 20 per cent votes in the last elections and in the recent elections it got 28 per cent votes. One of the spokespersons of the party said that the way number of Muslims were growing in Europe it was very dangerous. The spokesperson said that most of the Muslims were associated with terrorist organization. So it is very necessary to ban Muslims entering Europe to save it. VIII Corruption allegation 170 MPs of Iran Urdu Times on January 31 reported that former vice president of Iran Mohammad Raja Rahimi claimed that 170 MPs of Iran are involved in corruption cases. This is to recall that Rahimi was recently sentenced five years in jail for corruption charges. He was also fined billions of dollars. Rahimi alleged that during the government of former President Mehmood Ahmed Narsad, his 200 supporter MPs India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

misappropriated billions of dollars but he was trying to save these MPs. He alleged that some other MPs submitted memorandums to start an investigation against these corrupt MPs hurdles were being created in signing on the memorandum to start investigation. They demanded from the Speaker of Parliament of Iran Ali La Rijani that corruption of vice president is exposed and investigation against 20 important officials in the old government is on and they have been arrested but corrupt MPs are still spared. Speaker must take immediate action against these MPs so corruption can be uprooted from Iran. IX Campaign against terrorism in Bangladesh According to Munsif (February 7), The Bangladesh government banned violent protests in the country and threatened that if anyone indulges in violent activities he/she would be given death sentence. The Bangladesh government announced through the government channel that if anyone tried to set a person or good on fire, he would be given death sentence. According to the newspaper, this anti-government protest by the opposition parties were continuing from a months and it is intensifying. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

OTHER I Criticizing Democracy Dawat on February 7 claimed that since majority population in the country is of Hindus therefore India is a Hindu nation for all practical purposes. The newspaper in special editorial claimed that on secularism and Hindu-nation debate some people have their take that on ground India has always been a Hindu nation and even today the situation is the same. Therefore words like secularism and socialism must be removed from Constitution. Such demands were raised from the political parties of the ruling camp like Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena justified the removal of these two words in the Republic Day advertisements. Union minister Ravi Shanker Prasad said that in the Constituent Assembly debate these words were not there. These two words were included after the emergency in 1976 while information and broadcasting ministry said that it was a mistake that these two words were missing in the advertisement. Shiv Sena and other sections claimed that India has always been a Hindu Nation. It might not be liked by a big section of people in the country but it is a bitter truth. There is no certificate required for it as 67 years of independence are testimony to it. Makers of the constitution declared the country as democratic republic in which every citizen has equal right without and religious, racial and other differences but by providing right to one vote to one person made it clear who will prevail. In the present system majority dominance is democracy while in reality democracy is authoritarianism of majority community. This is approved across the world. Another argument is given that partition of Indian subcontinent was done on religious ground and followers of a particular religion were given a separate nation so there must be dominance of the majority community in this nation. This was even in the hearts of the Congress leaders. But they were unable to call it a Hindu nation because entire freedom struggle was run on democratic principal and Hindu-Muslim unity. They were also aware that in independent India every decision would be a majority decision that means minority people would be second-grade citizen. Still the country would be projected as the democratic state in the world. The Congress and Hindu Mahasabha did not make Pakistan like this. They knew that undivided India would not be able to dominate due to big population of Muslims so it was better to divide the country. As far as inclusion of secularism after emergency was concerned, it did not matter at all. Babri mosque was declared temple and its lock was later on opened and building was also demolished. Who does not know riots in Gujarat in 2002? In the name of terrorism arrest of Muslim youths is continuing. Makers of the constitution declared second largest religious community as minority to cause inferiority complex among them. The way Dalits are given reservation in government jobs to cause inferiority among them forever. So there is no need to get hurt from words of Shiv Sena. The only concern is to look into the matter that how such situation emerged and how this could be improved. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Dawat in an editorial on February 10 alleged that the way secularism and socialism was removed in the government advertisement and in Rajya Sabha colander tells the agenda of the government. The BJP must understand that coming to power does not at all mean it can do anything and everything. The government will have to function as per the Constitution. Removing secularism and socialism from colander and advertisement is not a small thing as everyone knows that the BJP and its supporters are not in support of socialism and secularism. They always talk about Hindutva and Hindu nation. It does not mean that after coming to power they would present constitution as per their whims. The word secularism was not included in the constitution without any purpose rather a message was given by this that people from different faith live in this country. They have every religious freedom. The government does not have any religion and it does not make any decision considering religion, caste, sex and race in mind. On one hand slogan is chanted Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas on the other hand it is removing such thing from the Constitution that takes everybody along. II New Shah of Saudi Arabia removed many pro-us people According to Munsif (February 4), the new king of Saudi Arabia Shah Salman has made major administrative reshuffle in the administration. Some of the relatives of the dead king and pro-us officials have been removed from the important position. According to the newspaper, new people have been appointed at 31 important positions. Old people have been sidelined from the important positions and youths have preferred over them. There are around 4000 people in the royal family and conspiracy against each other is a normal thing. The new king gave an indication for the new oil policy in the country. The way influence of radical element is increasing in Iran, Syria, Bahrain, Yemen and Iraq, the new king has to tread very cautiously. The last kind had already announced to build a 650 kilometer long wall in any eventuality of war with the ISIS. The new king and his deputy crown prince Mohammad bin Mohammad bin Salman are ardent supporters of Pakistan and this was the reason that the moment new king took over, Army chief of Pakistan and ISI chief visited Saudi Arabia. The new king of Saudi Arabia awarded them with the highest honor of the country. The new king made his 35- year-old son Mohammad Bin Salman in charge of defense ministry. The son of dead king was removed from the intelligence department. He is considered to be supporter of pro-us people like Bandarban Sultan and Mohammad bin Zaid. General Khalid al bin Abdulla Abdul Hamid has been made in charge of intelligence department. Fahid Samri has been appointment advisor of the king. The new king dissolved 12 committees while two new institutions Economic Development Council and Security Council were constituted. Western newspapers claimed that the new kind does not keep well and he suffers from amnesia. Besides that he had undergone a surgery in his backbone. Munsif on February 6 claimed that differences between Saudi Arabia and Iran came to fore when foreign minister of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif participated in the funeral of Shah at Riyad while India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

chairman of the Constituent Assembly of Iran Ayatollah Jannati criticized Shah after his death. Famous thinker of Iran Dr Zeba Kalam said that Shia-Sunni divide was increasing by the day. Armed clash between Shia and Sunni in Arabic world was continuing. Saudi Arab announced jihad against Shia community. They alleged some of the leaders of Iran that they were inciting bother Iran and Saudi Arabia which was not in the interest of Islam. This is to recall that another thinker of Saudi Arabia Dr Imanat Jhanti alleged that armed forces are employed to crush Shia people's movement in Saudi Arabia, Iran and Bahrain. III Girl arrested for Participating in ISIS jihad Siyasat on February 1 reported that Islamic Caliphate is getting popular by the day in Andhra Pradesh. In the past two months at least 42 young girls and boys fled their homes to participate in jihad started by ISIS. Some of them were arrested by the intelligence agencies from airports but many people have already reached Iraq to participate in jihad. Recently an engineer Salman Mayuddin was arrested from the airport when he was about to fly for Iraq. A girl was arrested after returning to India from Iraq as she had gone to Iraq to participate in jihad. It is said that the girl was living in Dubai and from there she went to Iraq to participate in jihad for the New Caliphate. But very soon she was disillusioned and she escaped from there to reach Syria and contacted her family members in Hyderabad. Family members encouraged her to come back to India but as soon as the police got the information, she was arrested and being quizzed. A police official in Hyderabad confirmed arrest of these people but refused to divulge any other detail. The official said that people coming from Iraq are being quizzed and providing information to media at this juncture is not possible. According to Siyasat (February 1), the Turkey government sent nine people back who reached there from Bangalore. These people reached there as tourists and were trying to sneak into Syria. People arrested from there belonged to Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The police believe that they were trying to join jihadies of Islamic Caliphate IV Ban of second marriage not unconstitutional Akhbar Mashrikh on February 11 reported attributing the decision of the Supreme Court that if the government does not allow any government official to marry twice, it is not against the constitution. The SC ruled that the law made by the Uttar Pradesh government says that before second marriage the official must take permission from the government that does not violate Section 25 of the Constitution. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

An official in the agriculture department in Uttar Pradesh filed a petition in the SC saying that Muslims are allowed for four marriages. This official was terminated from the government job for bigamy. He filed a petition in Allahabad High Court that ruled the government decision correct. The appeal at the SC under Justice T S Thakar and Justic Aadarsh Kumar Goal upheld the Allahabad HC decision. The SC ruled that polygamy is not allowed under Section 25 of the Constitution. The petitioner did not divorce his first wife before marrying the second moreover he did not take ever permission before marrying the second time. So he violated the law of the land and his termination is justified. V Doors of Parliament closed for Pervez Musharraf Roznama Rashtriya Sahara on February 16 reported that Sindh High Court ruled that former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf cannot become member of Pakistan Parliament. The High Court ruled that as a President he violated rules of Constitution, arrested judges and misused his powers. This is to recall that in the last elections Musharraf filed his nominations from Karachi which was rejected. Musharraf appealed this matter in the high court which was turned down by the court but the detailed ruling was pronounced after 22 months. The HC ruled in its verdict that decision taken by Musarraf has hurt image of the country. The court ruled that Musharraf tried to capture power of the country. Case must be filed against him for violating the Constitution. VI Four Arabic students get Maulana Azad Fellowship Azizulhind on February 14 reported that University Grant Commission announced Maulana Azad National Scholarship for four students of Banaras Hindu University. Students chosen for scholarship included Arman Ahmed, Abidurahman, Amana Nasrin and Firoza Khanam. Head of the department of Arabic department of BHU Prof Nasrina Farooqi said that this was for the first time that students of BHU got this UGC scholarship. This is to recall that Maulana Azad National Scholarship is given to 750 students over different subjects. This scholarship is for five years. In the first year of scholarship Rs per months is given and Rs for books. Students are given Rs after two years and they get housing allowance as well. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Previous Issues I Malicious campaign against unity and integrity of India Vol. 3, Issue 21 November 16-30, 2014 Malicious campaign against unity and integrity of India Investigating agencies under attack by Urdu press Attempt to distort history Telengana government's gift to Muslims Death sentence to Jamate Islami leader Christian couple killed for disrespecting Quran A Delhi-based Urdu daily Zadeed Indino (October 27) published a write up with the headline - Kashmiries await independence from past 67 years. Its second headline was - 67 years of illegal occupation of India on Kashmir. Editor of this newspaper is A M Asif. This newspaper is published from Jaipur, Patna, Lucknow, Saharanpur, Mumbai and West Bengal besides Delhi. This is very strange that the newspaper is only openly indulged in antinational talk and still getting big amount of central government's advertisements. Sad thing is that its editor has been given security cover by the Union home ministry. This puts a question mark on the functioning of Union home ministry and Union information and broadcasting ministry. Why the government is so indecisive? The newspaper wrote in an article that October 27 is that black day when India snatched freedom from Kashmiries and captured it in the night. Every year Kashmiries from both sides of the border and people living across the world observe October 27 as black day to attract attention of United Nations and people across the world to remind illegal occupation of Kashmir by India. After partition of the country, Indian Army entered into Srinagar and forcefully captured the city without considering the sentiment of its people. Jammu and Kashmir was never part of India. When the subcontinent was partitioned in 1947 and India and Pakistan became two nations that time Indian Army forcefully captured Kashmir with the help of Army. India is occupying Kashmir with the help of Army. No one denies about the dispute over this state. Freedom loving people of Kashmir are fighting a just battle that is their fundamental right. They are fighting for self determination and they cannot give up their right out of fear due to threat from the Indian government. Kashmiri people have given big sacrifices for the freedom of Kashmir and there are promises made by the United Nations and Indian government for Kashmiries on International arenas. Army is deployed at every nook and cranny of Kashmir and despite atrocities of Army; they are fighting for their freedom. The newspaper wrote that in the Kashmir dispute, Pakistan is also one of the parties. Indian nation is using indiscriminate military power to crush them resulting into killing of over 5 lakh Kashmiries till date. Lakhs are injured, thousands are widowed and similar number of people is orphaned. Thousands of women were raped and this unfortunate and bloody government terror was continuing. Spitting venom further, the newspaper wrote that India has been suppressing Kashmiries in the past 67 India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

years giving different excuses. The puppet government that was made against the wishes of people in the state was now opposing Indian atrocities in the state. Merger of Kashmir in Pakistan is not merely a slogan rather it is part of their faith. All the religious organizations in Kashmir are in unison to solve the problem of Kashmir. The way India was violating ceasefire, a case must be filed against it in the international court. Vol-3, Issue- 21 November 16-30, 2014 Rohingya Muslim terrorists' infiltration bid a security threat National Investigating Agency arrested a Rohingya Muslim Khalid Mohammad from Hyderabad in Bardhaman blast case. Khalid Mohammad accepted that Pakistani intelligence agency ISI was giving training to Rohingya Muslims at secret destinations. He also revealed that Rohingya Muslims living in different parts of India have been sent to Myanmar for training. Inquilab on November 16 revealed that in the Muslim-majority areas of Myanmar around Muslims started off a journey to Malaysia on boats but they did not reach Malaysia rather lost in the sea. Intelligence sources are speculating that these Rohingya Muslims might infiltrate into India or Bangladesh illegally. Vol. 3, Issue 22 December 1-15, 2014 An emerging threat to Security Agencies of India Infiltration and terror nexus of Rohingya Muslims This is to recall that Rohingya Muslims are problem for several South Asian countries. Myanmar claimed that these Muslims are not its citizen and they sneaked into the country from Bangladesh. There were bloody clashes between Rohingya Muslims and Budhdhists in Myanmar from the past four years in which thousands have been killed. The Bangladesh government has been saying that Rohangia Muslims are not its citizen therefore they cannot be allowed to intrude into the country. According to the Home ministry sources, thousands of Rohingya Muslims are illegally living in India. They are living in Jammu and Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telengana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal. Around two years ago hundreds of Rohingya Muslims reached Delhi and made shanties in the Vasant Kunj area occupying historical monuments. The government drove them out with very difficultly. They are still illegally living in the Okhla area of Delhi. Muslim organizations are making them available food and other things. According to intelligence agencies, some of these Rohingya Muslims are linked to Pakistan and Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is using them to cause unrest in India by pushing counterfeit currency in the market. Recently a Rohingya Muslim was arrested by the intelligence sleuths in Bardhaman blasts case, who is alleged to be associated with terrorist organization Harkat ul Jihad Islami. Security India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

agencies claimed that he was given terror training by Pakistani and Chinese officials in the jungles of Myanmar. This has also been revealed that Pakistani agents are recruiting Muslim youths from Andhra Pradesh, Assam and Jammu and Kashmir for terror training. Security agencies are quizzing him. It is said that this person was doing recruitment work with the help of local Islamic madarsas. Vol-3, Issue-22 December 1-15, 2014 Ulama threaten to take arms against government Siyasat on December 15, 2014 claimed in a news report on the front page that religious leaders of the Muslim community threatened that if converting Muslims to Hinduism has not Vol. 3, Issue Combined Issue December 16, January 15, 2015 immediately been stopped then Muslims might take up arms against chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and Prime Minister Ulama threaten to take arms against government Narendra Modi. They said in Moradabad that Muslims were Taj Mahal in the midst of controversy not afraid of anyone and they would do everything to save their Rohingya Muslims behind Bardhaman blast existence. While addressing the gathering organized by Babri Ban demanded on Jamiat Ulama e Hind Action Committee, Maulana Salim Ahmed said that Muslims would not tolerate that their religion was targeted. Muslims Pro-Pakistani people sentenced to death in Bangladesh were not afraid of any one and would not hesitate resort to Punishment for showing disrespect to Prophet in Syria taking up arms. We would unite to strengthen ourselves. We Campaign to get Muslims recruited in police would make an Army to attack Assembly and Parliament to teach a lesson to MPs and MLAs. We could arrange arm and ammunition of every form. We could change the fate of the nation and we must not be forced to take up arms. This is not proper on part of the PM and the CM to keep silent on this issue. More than 2000 people were present on the occasion. Senior police and administrative officials were present on the occasion but no action has been taken against these people so far. When media took up their speeches in news reports then the police woke up from slumber. Vol-3, Issue: December 16, January 15, 2015 Owaisi threatens another partition of the country All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) chief Asaduddin Owaisi threatened that if the unjust policy of the Narendra Modi government and Ghar Wapsi programme continued among Muslims, there were a threat of another partition of the country. Owaisi was speaking the same language that Jinnah used to speak before partition. Therefore countrymen must be cautious about these jihadi India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

elements. Addressing the media at the Hyderabad-based headquarters of AIMIM Darul Islam (House of Islam), Owaisi said that Islam was the oldest religion so such Sangh leaders who wanted Ghar Wapsi, they must come to Islamic fold leaving Hinduism. In an interview to the English magazine Frontline, he alleged that Sangh Pariwar was thrusting Hindutva on the country. As far as development was concerned that was a mask to hide dangerous intentions of the Sangh Pariwar. He answered another question that between 1961 and 2001 the population of Hindus declined by 3.1 per cent while Muslim population increased by 2.7 per cent. He claimed that the declining population is not due to conversion but due to several other reasons. He said that if Christian missionaries were getting money from the foreign sources for conversion then why the government was allowing these missionaries to get foreign funds at first place. He claimed that anti-conversion laws in the five states of the country - Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat - are against the norms of Indian constitution. These laws are against the provision of equality because as per this law if anyone wants to become Muslim or Christian he/she will have to seek the state government's permission. He said that the party was planning to expand its base in West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. The secular face of the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh was exposed due to the recent incidents while the way madarsas in West Bengal were being targeted after Bardhaman blasts, Muslims were disillusioned with the Trinamool Congress. The party wanted to take benefit out of the situation. Owaisi is trying to expand base of his party when he recently opened office of his party in Lucknow. Owaisi family has been always spreading hatred in the society and getting political mileage out of it. His grandfather Abdul Wahid Owaisi was sent to jail for spreading hatred between the two communities and speaking anti-national language. In 1958, he was facing these charges in the court. Asduddin's father Sulauddin Owaisi was nothing less than anyone in inciting communal violence in Andhra Pradesh. AIMIM was behind several incidents of communal violence in the state. Around two years ago, Asaduddin Owaisi ran a campaign against historical Bhagyalakshmi temple near Charminar to demolish it. Due to this, communal violence broke out in Hyderabad around five times. In 2009, Hyderabad police had lodged cases of inciting communal violence against him. Bhagyalakshmi Temple India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

The organization named as AIMIM has a very incriminating history that is captured by the Owaisi family. This organization was founded by Nawab Mohammad Nawaz Khan on instructions of 7th Nizam Osman Ali Khan in 1927 and its aim was to make Hyderabad an Independent Islamic state with the help of British Raj. Reign of this organization was passed on to Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung an associate of Mohammada Ali Jinna. Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung was national executive member and treasurer of All India Muslim League. They supported formation of Pakistan and Jinnah came to Hyderabad on the invitation of Bahadur Yar Jung in 1939 and met with Nizam. It is said that Jinnah requested Nizam to announce merger of Hyderabad with Pakistan but he did not do so because he was dreaming of becoming emperor of an independent Islamic nation. Around this time, a Muslim lawyer from Beed Qasim Rizvi contacted Nizam Mir Qsman Ali with the help of Nawab Bahadur Yar Jung. Nizam opened his coffer for Syed Qasim Rizvi and he recruited 1.5 lakh Razakars. The aim was to protect independent Islamic nation of Hyderabad of Nizam. These Razakars targeted Hindus of the Hyderabad and adjoining areas, looted, killed and mass raped Hindu women. In 1947, when India attained independent, Nizam announced independence instead of merging Hyderabad with India. At that time Qasim Rizvi had made speeches everyday on Radio Deccan of Nizam against India saying that Muslim Army of Hyderabad would capture entire India to make it an Islamic nation. The Caliph and emperor of the new nation would be Sultan Mir Osman Ali. Nizam with the help of Pakistan sent 65 lakh pounds to Ambassador of Pakistan in London through a bank in London for purchasing arms and ammunition that was opposed by India. The money that has increased to 3 crore pounds is still lying in the London bank. Both India and Pakistan are fighting to claim it. Syed Qasim Rizvi Bahadur Yar Jung with Mohammada Ali Jinna The party is still loyal to Pakistan and this is the reason that the party claims in open that India captured Hyderabad by sending its Army and during the operation thousands of Muslims were killed and thousands of Muslim women were mass raped. Even today the party mourns September 17 as Yome Syah (mourning day). This is the day when merger of Hyderabad with India was announced. Is not it the language of Pakistan that Owaisi and his cohorts are speaking? Qasim Rizvi handed over reins of AIMIM to a Hyderabad-based lawyer Abdul Wahid Owaisi before leaving for Pakistan. It is said that Owaisi contacted Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru and the government of India lifted the ban on AIMIM. After the ban was lifted, the AIMIM became active in Hyderabad politics. It organized Muslims and started instigating them against the government of India. In 2000, AIMIM leader supported fatwa against Salman Rushdie and Taslima Nasrin in which prize was India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

announced for killing these authors. When Taslima Nasrin had gone to Hyderabad for the launch of Telugu version of her book in 2007, an attempt was made on her life. The police arrested three people in this regard and the case is still on against them in the court. There was an electoral alliance of the AIMIM with the Congress, in 2011 a controversy erupted regarding Asaduddin Owaisi with Andhra Pradesh chief minister Kiran Reddy regarding allotment of land. Attack on Taslima Nasrin by the workers of Majlis The AIMIM broke its alliance with the Congress after that incidence. However, the party gave an excuse that the Andhra Pradesh government was not ready to demolish illegal Bhagyalakshi temple so he withdrew the support. Vol-4, Issue-1 January 16-31, 2015 Muslim population increases by 24 per cent Vol. : 4, Issue : 2 February 1-15, 2015 Most of the Urdu newspaper neglected fast increase in the Muslim population in the country. Hyderabad-based two newspapers Siyasat and Munsif published it as the main news on the front page. According to Siyasat on January 23, Urdu media favors killers of French scribes population of Muslim increased by 24 per cent while general increase in the population has been 18 per cent so the Muslim Suspected terrorist released on pressure from Muslim leaders population has increased from 13 per cent to 14 per cent. Muslim population increases by 24 per cent Civil war intensifies in Yemen Maximum population of Muslims is in Jammu and Kashmir at 68.3 per cent while the second position is of Assam where Murder charges on Pervez Musharraf Muslim population is 34.2 per cent and third is West Bengal where Muslims are 27 per cent. The newspaper accepted that Installation of CCTV camera in mosques refused from 1991 to 2001, Muslim population grew at the rate of 29 per cent but it decreased to 24 per cent in the next decade. Growth rate of Muslims is fastest in Assam in 2001 Muslim proportion in the population was 30.9 which has gone up to 34.3 per cent. The newspaper also accepted that increase in population of Assam is due to Bangladeshi infiltrators. As per census department information, religion-based census to be released soon. Manipur is the only country where population of Muslims decreased. Muslim population in West Bengal is growing at a very fast pace. In 2001, Muslim population inthe state was 25.2 per cent which has gone up to 27 per cent in Growth of Muslim population in Assam has double to the proportion of growth of Muslim population in the country. India Policy Foundation February 16, March 15,

Muslim population in Uttarakhand also increased from 11.9 per cent to 13.9 per cent. In southern India, Kerala is the state where population of Muslims increased maximum. Commenting on the increasing population of Muslims a Delhi-based weekly newspaper Nai Dunia (Feb 2 to Feb 8) wrote in the editorial that heavy increase in the Muslim population was due to the community shunning of the family planning programme among poor Muslim families. With every baby born in the family, they think a new earning member in included. This thinking still prevails in villages. The family that has more members will be dominating in the society. Muslims are the most backward and they lack education therefore they don't believe in family planning. Since Muslims in Assam and West Bengal are more backward so there population is increasing very fast. This is a trend across the world that poor have more children while rich have less. If the government wants Muslims to produce less numbers children, then it must make special provisions for their education and social uplift. The newspaper said that if population of Assam and West Bengal was increasing so for that the government was responsible for it that failed to stop infiltration. The number of Hindu population was decreasing because Hindus were getting education and even Dalits and OBCs were getting better education and other facilities while Muslims were getting backward by the day. Muslims don't get any reservation. Besides other thing abortions have been playing a major role in decreasing Hindu population.
