MOTHER AND INFANT QUIET ROOM Mothers of infants who need a quiet place for nursing or calming babies are welcome to use the Quiet Room. An audio feed of the worship service is provided. Check in with Karen Fitts in the Nursery to see if the Quiet Room is available for your use. JOIN US FOR COFFEE & DONUTS As is our Sunday morning custom, the First Presbyterian Church family gathers for a time of informal fellowship each Sunday between worship services in Courtenay Hall. ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE WITH DISABILITIES Hearing devices, largeprint hymnals, large-print bulletins, and large-print Bibles are available for worship and are located in the narthex on the table on the right side as you enter the front doors. A/V OF WORSHIP AVAILABLE Worship service in Courtenay Hall has the audio-video transfer for each of the Sunday morning worship services. It is a smaller but still spacious area to worship that is wheelchair accessible, has low sensory stimulation and allows for more movement. If that atmosphere aids in your ability to worship, feel free to enjoy the service in Courtenay Hall. OFFICER PRAYER TIME Prayer requests for our congregation can be submitted to the church officers by filling out prayer request cards and depositing them in the Prayer Request Boxes, located in the narthex on the southeast wall and at the Welcome Center. Prayer request cards can be found in a rack attached to the Prayer Request Box. Officers meet each Wednesday at 4:30 P.M. in the Bryant Conference Room to lift up prayer requests to God. ADDRESS CHANGE? Change of address cards are available in the pew rack. Please inform the church of any change in your address and/or telephone number by completing a form and placing it in the collection plate. SERMONS preached at First Presbyterian Church are published weekly. You can log on to the church website ( to listen to an audio version or read a printed version of the sermon. Printed copies of the sermon can also be found in literature areas of the church (in the narthex and Welcome Center). FAREWELL RECEPTION The Presbyterian Women will host a farewell reception for Susan and Mark DeVries on Sunday, July 27, in Courtenay Hall, following the 5:30 worship service. MUSIC NOTES The FPC Sanctuary Choir and a number of other church members are away this week on a concert tour of Ireland. In their stead, several of our gifted youth musicians will participate in worship this morning a fitting welcome for Adam DeVries as he is installed today as Associate Pastor for Youth and their Families. The closing voluntary is Voluntary on Lift High the Cross by Craig Phillips (born 1961), a native Nashvillian and graduate of the Eastman School of Music. Dr Phillips currently serves as Director of Music at All Saints Church, Beverly Hills.

Adam will be filling the position of Associate Pastor for Youth and Their Families.
