God the Father is Maker of Heaven and Earth, and everyone and everything has a purpose in God s plan. We believe creation is so amazing and complex that it didn t happen by accident only God could have created it. We also believe that nothing in life is an accident, but everything fits into God s purposes. Jesus is the Son of God, who willingly died on the cross for our sins. Because of God s unearned love for us, our sins are forgiven. Since we know that we are unconditionally loved, our sins offer us a chance for repentance and learning and growth. Through the Holy Spirit, God s power is found in everything. The Spirit of God is in and around us always, giving us strength and comfort. We are children of God, and God loves us all equally. We are given talents that are meant to glorify God. The Bible always points to the truth, and it is full of rich meaning and life lessons for us. It is God s Word, containing an accurate account of Jesus life, and one of our jobs is to tell others about our faith in God and about what Jesus did for us.
