1 PHONE: (972) Elsa Tilley June 24, March 5, 2007 Elsa G. Tilley, age 59, of McKinney, Texas passed away March 5, 2007 in McKinney. She was born on June 24, 1947, in the Philippines to Norberto and Salvacion (Rayandayan) Gamis. On January 14, 1989, she married Missionary John Tilley in Del Rio, Texas. Mrs. Tilley served in the ministry for over 17 years in Texas, the Philippines, Alabama and Mexico. She was a member of Gloryland Baptist Church in Forestdale, Alabama. She is survived by her sons, Robert Gamis and wife, Yvonne of Anna, Texas, Eric Molitor and wife, Shelley of Allen, Texas, and Alan Foster and wife, Stephanie of McKinney, Texas; grand children, Nikki, Brianna, Micaiah, Johnna, Noah, Juliana and Bethany; mother, Salvacion Gamis of the Philippines; and several brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Missionary John Carl Tilley in Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Friday, March 9, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Charles Andrews of Fortsdale, Alabama officiating. Visitation will follow the services at the funeral home from 5-7 PM. A graveside service will be held at Jones Cemetery, Utopia, Texas, at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 10, 2007 with Pastor Jim Taylor of San Antonio, Texas officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 606 Erwin St., McKinney, Texas Memorials Dear Eric and Shelly, May the God of all comfort give extra grace during those times when the emotions of missing your mother come over you. I know from having lost my Mom on February 28, 2002, even though she was saved and ready to go, that it wasn t easy letting go. My Mom lived with me and Phyllis for the last three years she was alive, and we really got reattached. Every morning at 5:30, I would sit with her in her room and have coffee and just talk. I sure did miss those morning talks after she passed away. For about a month after she passed away, I couldn t go near the cupboard where we kept the coffee. Phyllis and I still talk sometimes about the way Mom did things. You will never forget but it will get easier. The first Mother s Day after she had departed, I really had a hard time. My uncle (Mom s brother) knew that I would be at the gravesite and came looking for me. Everything was alright and we (uncle) had a good time together. Last December 22, at 7:10 A.M., I was able to lead my uncle to Jesus Christ. He told me today that he was almost through reading the New Testament in the Bible that I gave him. He just turned 76 years old. I pray that you will reminisce on the good times you had together, and remember that she is far better off

3 than we are. It kind of makes you envious. We have more to think about in Heaven.
