BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 21 ST Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) announced today that mandatory ten-digit dialing is set to begin on SEPT. 21 ST for residential and business customers within the existing 570 area code. Remember when making a phone call you must use the 570 before the other 7 digits of the number. Important facts for businesses and residents to remember during the transition: Your telephone number, including current area code, will not change. You will need to dial area code + telephone number for all local calls. You will continue to dial 1+ area code + telephone number for all long distance calls. What is a local call now will remain a local call. The price of a call, coverage area, or other rates and services will not change due to the overlay. You can still dial just three digits to reach 911. Above information has been copied from information made available from: Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission Press Office P.O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA (717) FAX (717) TURBOTVILLE OIP RESTERUANT UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP We would like to welcome all our new neighbors to OIP Turbotville.
