2 From the Vicar s Desk In our day to day busy schedule, festivals are the days which bring us together and also help us to enjoy and spend memorable time with each other. One such big and auspicious event is Easter which is celebrated by each of us with a lot of love, vigor, and enthusiasm. It is a celebration around the globe. It is one of the brightest occasionwhen everyone is in a festive mood, thereby spreading joy and hope everywhere. As Christians we have only one message to the world, Jesus is Risen, Jesus is Alive. So let s convey this message to all through our lives and witness. May all the blessings of Easter fill your heart and your home! Let s thank God for his blessings showered upon us for the last 25 years as individuals, families and the Church as a whole. When we are gathering together on 08th April for the Valedictory Function of the Silver Jubilee, ofcourse, we can proudly say that we did something for the less privileged in the society, especially at Srikakulam.Jesus said; And the King will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for me (Mt. 25:40). Thomas Anchery Achen THOUGHT FOR THE QUARTER "Men of Galilee," they said, "Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven. "(Acts: 1:11). I am grateful to all those who contributed wholeheartedly to the Silver Jubilee Project and I am sure, the Almighty God will bless you and your generations with His abundant blessings. In the Gospel we read that, Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything all she had to live on (Mk:12: 41-44). God does not weigh the gift as much as the mind of the giver. That gift is really the greater in his sight, not which is actually of greater value, but which is greater in respect of the giver. After the annual exams the new academic session will start soon followed by the summer vacation. I wish all blessings to our children to study well and make use of their vacation positively. Here I would like to conclude my words. May the Almighty God bless us all..

6 Silver Jubilee Valedictory Function Holy Qurbana & Public Meeting On April 08th Church INVITATION As St. Peter s Mar Thoma Family, we are able to celebrate the Silver Jubilee of our Church in The culmination of all the celebrations will be held on 08th April, 2018 at 4pm at our Church. Remember that, it is only because of the grace of the Almighty God and thus we should be grateful to Him and for His blessings. The Valedictory function precedes the Holy Qurbana at 4 pm. Parish day service and programmes are also uniting with the function. The public meeting will be at 6.30pm. Our Diocesan Episcopa, Rt. Rev. Gregorios Mar Stephanos Thirumeni and other distinguished and well known personalities will be the guests of the day. Kindly pray for the blessing of all these programmes and gatherings and make it convenient to participate in the Holy Qurbana and other functions of the day. Dinner will be served thereafter.
