3 3 ST. JOSEPH & SACRED HEART BIBLE STUDY BEGINS ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19TH AT 7:00 P.M. IN THE CONVOCATION CENTER AT ST. JOSEPH. If you have not yet paid for your workbook, please pay for it at the first session. WORLD MISSION SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23, 2016 celebrates the mercy of God as we extend His loving heart to our neighbor half a world away, through our prayers and sacrifices. What happens on World Mission Sunday? Your prayers and generous support on World Mission Sunday directly benefit the Mission Church today. That support reaches clinics caring for the sick & dying, orphanages providing a place of safety & shelter, schools offering education from kindergarten through high school. Your help provides for seminarians preparing for the priesthood, and religious Sisters and Brothers in formation programs. All of this takes place in 1,111 mission dioceses, mostly in Africa & Asia, where the poorest of the poor receive an education & health care while experiencing the loving heart of our Lord through the service of priests, religious, and lay faithful. For more information visit: CONFIRMATION MEETING Mandatory Confirmation meeting for parents & students will take place Oct. 25th at 6:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church. Everyone is strongly encouraged to attend Mass at 6:30 pm. The meeting will take place immediately after Mass. ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: Listed below are the dates for PSR instruction. Our classes will be held WEDNESDAY EVENINGS in the Parish Activity Center at Sacred Heart. They will begin at 7 p.m. and last for approximately one hour. Please plan on attending. OCTOBER 19, OCTOBER 26, NOVEMBER 2, NOVEMBER 9, NOVEMBER 16, NOVEMBER 23 (Thanksgiving Eve Mass), NOVEMBER 30, DECEMBER 7 (Caroling at nursing homes) C.A.M.P. is starting to prepare for their Thanksgiving Dinners for the month of November. They hope to be able to help as many people as possible, but they can only do that with the help of the wonderful residents of Crestline! They are accepting donations of $40.00 per Thanksgiving box. They will take as many donations as people are wiling to give. Please know that all of your donations are greatly appreciated and will be used toward the help they are giving Crestline residents.
