6 To the Right Eminent Grand Commander, Officers and Sir Knights of the Grand Commandery, Knights Templar of New Hampshire: Your committee on Public Relations and Publicity is pleased to present this report on the activities during the past year in this important area. We regret that there has been no publication of the New Hampshire York Rite News during It appears that publication will not be realized during the coming year, even though it is an important means for keeping our York Rite community informed of current activities. We continue to receive the New Hampshire Supplement to the Knights Templar Magazine each month. Our Editor was able to meet all deadlines during this past year. He has endeavored to include articles of general interest to our New Hampshire York Rite in general, and to New Hampshire Knights Templary in particular. We were pleased during the past year to receive information and several photos from our Sir Knights and their ladies for use in our New Hampshire Supplement. We encourage all of our readers to send in material for future articles. The information need not be any more than handwritten, and photos may be either black and white or color, and of any size. material is welcome. We also invite ideas for topics, as we are always looking for thoughts and materials to keep this publication lively and interesting. Please send along your input at any time, and your Editor will be most grateful to receive it. Respectfully submitted, Rodney A. Robinson, Chairman Arnold M. Ashley Robert L. Sutherland, Jr.

7 To the Right Eminent Grand Commander Nathanial H. Sawyer, Grand Commandery Knights Templar, NH Dear RE Commander Sawyer, It is the consensus of your Membership Committee for this Grand Commandery that we have had an excellent year in NH. Every Commandery has brought in new member Sir Knights. It is even possible that for the first time in many years, we may break even in the plus minus columns. It is only the departure of those who are called to present themselves before our GOD that may prevent a plus year. The final numbers are not yet available to this Committee. The efforts of the Membership Committees of both Grand Chapter and Grand Council have assisted greatly in the overall efforts to rejuvenate our York Rite. We have enjoyed two banner years, let us each work diligently for at least a third. Respectfully submitted, SK Robert D. Steel, GSW SK Dennis A. Sheridan, GCG SK John Geas, GSB To the Right Eminent Grand Commander and Members of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar of New Hampshire: REPORT OF THE COMMITTEE ON GRIEVANCES 12 May 2007 To the Right Eminent Grand Commander, Officers, and Sir Knights of the Grand Commandery of New Hampshire: Your Committee on Grievances is pleased to report that no complaints or grievances have been reported to us during the 17-month period from our last Annual Conclave on 3 December 2005 to the present time. May peace and harmony continue to prevail within our Commanderies. Respectfully submitted, Jr., PGC R.E.S.K. Robert L. Sutherland, E.S.K. Rodney A. Robinson, PC

13 REPORT OF THE GRAND JUNIOR WARDEN To the Right Eminent Grand Commander Nathaniel H. Sawyer and the Sir Knights of the Grand Commandery of Knights Templar for the State of New Hampshire: It is with great pleasure that I submit this report of my activities for the past Templar period. I attended the Unity Parties for 2005 and I made all the meetings of my local Commandery, Sullivan-Hugh de Payens No 6 in Claremont, having been re-elected Commander for 2006 and assuming the duties of Recorder, as well. On April 15, 2006, I attended the Order of Malta, in Springfield, Vt. In June, 2006, I attended the Rainbow Grand Assembly in dual capacity as Grand Junior Warden for K.T. and as Grand Chaplain for OES. In September, I attended the North East York Rite Conference in Portland, Me. I attended inspections in: Claremont on 26 Jan 2007 Concord on 2 Feb 2007 Manchester on 24 Mar 2007 Portsmouth on 7 April 2007 Respectfully submitted Harold M. Chase, Jr. Grand Junior Warden To the Rt E. Grand Commander and Grand Encampment of KT of NH your Finance Committee make the following report: The Committee met with the Grand Treasurer to inspect his books and records. We found them to be in outstanding condition and most easy to read and understand, as this was in the middle of the Fiscal Year we did not do a complete audit. We did however check the accounts with the bank statements and the investment brokers statements and found all in balance and in the words of our Grand Treasurer, even with the slight loss in the Market, not to worry. The Grand Treasure informed us of his great displeasure with the budget that he had to work with last year. Your Chairman (me) informed him that was what we have used in years past. The Grand Treasurer informed us that if we plan on him to remain as Grand Treasure we need to present a more complete budget for him to work with covering things in a much more complete manor. After much discussion on what needs to be done to make it better, we present the attached Budget and recommendations.

14 Recommendations: 1. The Fidelity Bond Bill of $ paid in fiscal year 2007/8 covered all three Grand Bodies for one year and their sub parts. We move that no bills be sent to any of the Chapters, Councils, Commanderies, or other bodies that are covered and that the Grand Chapter pay the $176 for fiscal year 2009 and the Grand Council for the fiscal year The cost is to each of the three Grand bodies less they would have paid for themselves only. 2. That the Grand Treasurer is authorized to remove from the Triennial Fund and transfer to the General Fund a sum not more than $ to assist with the expenses of the elected officers (with their receipts $ ea.) that attend the NE Conference. 3. That The Grand Treasurer is authorized to remove such sums as may be needed to pay our share of the Joint Grand York Rite Sessions from the Grand Conclave Fund upon receipt of proper bills from the York Rite Council and the RE Grand Commander. 4. That the Grand Treasurer is authorized to remove such sums as may be needed to pay to send a minister to the Holy Land from the Holy Land Pilgrimage Account..After Vote of the GE 5. That the Grand Treasurer is authorized to remove such sums as may be needed to meet any short fall in the budget with the Written approval of the RE Grand Commander and VEDG Commander and Grand Recorder, and then no more than $500.00, any funds to acceding this amount require a special Conclave of the GE. GRAND COMMANDERY KNIGHTS TEMPLAR OF NEW HAMPSHIRE REPORT OF THE JURISPRUDENCE COMMITTEE 12 May 2007 To the Right Eminent Grand Commander, Officers, and Sir Knights of the Grand Commandery Knights Templar of New Hampshire: The Jurisprudence Committee submits the following report relative to the activities of our Right Eminent Grand Commander during the Chivalric Year ending today. The Committee thanks the Right Eminent Grand Commander for providing us with his report. We find that his activities reflect the accomplishments of a busy period of 17 months, from our last Annual Conclave on 3 December 2005 to the present time, during which our Chivalric Rite has been well governed. More specific comments follow: We approve all of his dispensations granted during the past 17 months. We thank him for seeking advice on matters in doubt. We find that in all cases the Grand Regulations were applied wisely. We approve all of his appointments of Grand Representatives both within and without the State. We are pleased with his recommendations for the various awards. We commend him for agreeing to add the Grand Commandery to the Junior Officer Training Course that was promoted by the Grand Council Cryptic Masons of New Hampshire. We believe that in time this training course will develop into required material, and that it will greatly benefit those who attend its sessions.

18 We are pleased that the annual exchange of visits between DeWitt Clinton Commandery in Portsmouth, NH and St. Amand Commandery in Kennebunk, ME took place again this year. These fraternal exchanges are pleasant occasions for both Commanderies, and are fully worthy of our support. We commend the three York Rite Grand Bodies for their efforts in assisting the North Country Bodies in resolving their various By-Laws and meeting locations problems (Littleton, Lancaster and Colebrook). We believe that with the proper guidance the necessary changes can be prepared to allow these Bodies to meet jointly in the three different locations, and we are confident that the final offerings will be worthy of approval. We commend the Right Eminent Grand Commander for his role in supporting and strengthening the role and activities of the New Hampshire York Rite Council, particularly relative to the extensive arrangements approved by that Council for the first three-way Annual Assembly/Convocation/Conclave in which we are now engaged. We regret that the Most Excellent Grand High Priest found it necessary to alter his programs for the Ladies Activities and Luncheon after the York Rite Council had approved different arrangements. We hope that in the future such disruptive post-approval actions will be avoided. The Committee commends the Right Eminent Grand Commander for his travels both within and without the State. We are aware of the personal difficulties that he has encountered when away from home during the past several months. We commend him for his efforts in satisfying both his personal and his fraternal obligations during his extended tenure as our Right Eminent Grand Commander. The Committee members thank the Right Eminent Grand Commander for appointing us to this most important Committee. We move the adoption of this report. In the Faith, S.K. Rodney A. Robinson, EPC, Chairman S.K Ronald E. Metcalf, REPGC S.K. Robert L. Sutherland, Jr., REPGC
