1 Mission Statements of Consortium Member Parishes California St. James, Los Angeles: Our mission is to enable individuals to discern and carry out their ministries as Christians. Our goal is to become, through our worship and music, our educational programs and our service to those in need, a model company of faithful people who both honor their varied cultural traditions and actively share in building the family of Christ. Colorado St. John s Cathedral, Denver: To know Christ and to make Christ known. Connecticut St. Mark s, New Canaan: A Community of Faith, Hope and Love St. James, New London is called to serve God, Christ and the community of greater New London. Christ and Holy Trinity, Westport: We are disciples of Christ, following his commandment to love and worship God above all, and to love and serve our neighbors as ourselves. Delaware Immanuel Highlands, Wilmington is an Episcopal Church with a richly diverse and caring congregation, dedicated to getting to know God and Christ through the Eucharist, and through each other. We are called to know God and make God known; support one another in our life in Christ, and to serve Christ in all people. Florida Christ Church, Ponte Vedra Beach: God is radiantly present in the world, in our community and in our church. In joyful response to God's call, Christ Church faithfully reaches out in worship, study, and service. St. Boniface, Sarasota: The mission of Saint Boniface is to continue Christ's Ministry in the world through worship, teaching, healing and service Georgia St. James, Marietta: The mission statement of Saint James' Episcopal Church is to be an inclusive body of faith in the Anglican Tradition, offering everyone spiritual nourishment and growth, and making a difference in our community and the world. Illinois St. James Cathedral, Chicago: St. James is a community of evangelists, called to proclaim the transforming love of God in Christ through worship, spiritual formation, outreach, social action, and radical, outrageous hospitality. St. Paul s Parish, Riverside: St. Paul s Parish mission is evangelization, that is, the life-long process of helping people grow into their God-given ministry. St. Paul s does this by being a Catholic religious community centered in the Eucharist, providing educational and spiritual development and ongoing support so that people, through their unique ministries, can in turn reach out to others. Holy Spirit, Lake Forest: The mission of The Church of the Holy Spirit is to restore all people to unity with God and each other in Christ as witnessed through worship, service, and mutual love.
2 Indiana Christ Church Cathedral, Indy: As servants of the Risen Christ, we are called to invite all people to the foot of the cross so that together we may live the grace of the Resurrection. Trinity, Indy: God calls Trinity Episcopal Church to be a living witness to Christ's Grace and the power of the Holy Spirit as we: Pray and worship; Nourish our parish community; Seek and serve our neighbor; Proclaim God's love for everyone--in the name of Jesus our Lord. Kentucky St. James, Pewee Valley: Building the Future on a Foundation of Tradition. Louisana Trinity, New Orleans: Acting in God s love, Trinity Church welcomes everyone to enthusiastically live the Christian faith. We call our members to worship and prayer, lifelong education, spiritual growth, cheerful giving, and active ministries within our communities. All members serve as witnesses to Jesus Christ. Maryland All Hallows, Birdsville: Our Mission at All Hallows' is to worship God through Jesus Christ,welcoming all people into fellowship and, together, becoming a community of disciples who practice the Great Commandments, loving the Lord our God and loving our neighbors as ourselves, and living out the Great Commission, making disciples of all and teaching them to keep Christ's Commandments. We are engaged in a lifelong Christian journey to love and serve the Lord by discovering our gifts and callings and by growing through the spiritual disciplines. Christ Church, Rockville Vision Statement: +We are a community in Christ, sharing God s abundance and grace. +We seek God s forgiveness, for we suffer from the sins of pride, jealousy, and envy. +We seek to personify the grace and love of Christ by understanding and responding to the needs of our congregation and community and by eliminating the prejudice and fear of change that create divisions among us. +We trust in God s compassion and healing as we acknowledge that our unfulfilled lives and broken relationships paralyze and discourage us. +We spread the good news of Jesus promise of salvation. +Our common need for community and connection compels us to embrace diversity and welcome all people into our community of faith. +We are called to glorify God and to serve others. Michigan St. James, Birmingham: As a community of believers in Jesus Christ, we seek to fulfill our Baptismal Covenant. We believe that God calls us to provide for the spiritual needs of all people. We strive for lifelong Christian growth through worship, education, fellowship, outreach, stewardship and witness. The mission of Christ Church Grosse Pointe is to bring God and people together to know and live the Good News of Jesus Christ. Minnesota St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral, Minneapolis: is a welcoming faith community called by God to peace and reconciliation through inspiring worship, spiritual growth, passionate hospitality and service to others in the love of Jesus Christ.

We will accomplish this by: Meeting the spiritual and social needs of our congregation through excellence in worship and parish programs; Opening our doors to others by providing a variety of worship, spiritual formation and social activities as well as physical access to those activities; Increasing our contribution to outreach ministries annually with the goal of moving ever closer to the ideal of devoting one-half of our income to needs outside the parish Reaching out to our community to attract and retain new members and revitalize inactive parishioners Maintaining and improving our physical resources for the long-term benefit of the parish Focusing on building our financial and other resources in order to increase our capacity for growth in outreach and other programs.

St. Michael s, New York City: The mission of St. Michael's Church is to witness, through its worship, ministries and community activities, to the spirit, teachings and love of Christ; to offer strength and love to each other; and to reach out and draw others into our diverse parish family. North Carolina Chapel of the Cross Chapel Hill: We are called to: worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; learn and teach the Christian faith; love one another; strive for justice and peace among all people; care for those in need; share our many blessings; and do all with truly thankful hearts in the name of Jesus. Ohio Christ Cathedral, Cincinnati: We recognize that we have an important role to play in the future of our community, the Episcopal Diocese of Southern Ohio and the American Church. Key to our ministry is the fostering of the faith of Jesus Christ among a diverse membership. As a Cathedral, we serve as a source of strength for the entire Diocese by providing an enhanced place for worship, a welcoming church home-away-from-home, and a resource for Diocesan and community spiritual needs. We also serve as a Center of Reconciliation to build healing relationships among peoples of all races and creeds. Rhode Island St. John s, Barrington: The Mission of St. John's Church is to be a community of Christians committed to the care, nourishment and spiritual growth of all. Texas St. David's, Austin is a diverse worshipping community of believers unified in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to receive and share God's love, hope, joy, vitality, and vision as we serve others. St. Francis, Houston: Within the Body of Christ, the St. Francis Community is committed to nurturing the spiritual, educational and physical development of all of God s people. Trinity, Longview is driven by Faith to: Glorify God through Worship, Reflect Christ's Love, and Grow & Serve through the Power of the Holy Spirit. Saint Michael and All Angels, Dallas: Our mission is to build the Kingdom of God through the power of Almighty God, the love of Jesus Christ, and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We
