Our Brother Michael Senko enriched the lives of many he came to know. SK Michael was a member of the K of C for many years and accomplished so much for our Order.

1 Knights of Columbus Corpus Christi Assembly 2810 AUGUST 2018 FAITHFUL NAVIGATOR REPORT Anthony Gasparino Brother Sir Knights: We lost an exemplary dedicated and wonderful Sir Knight Michael Senko, PGK, PFN who entered eternal rest by our Heavenly Father on July 10th. SK Michael and his predeceased wife, Beverly, were personal friends of my wife Claudia and myself. Our Brother Michael Senko enriched the lives of many he came to know. SK Michael was a member of the K of C for many years and accomplished so much for our Order. He will be missed by all who knew him. Thank you for honoring him at his funeral with a tremendous turnout for SK Michael and to honor his wonderful family and friends. I thank the Color Corp and anyone who helped in anyway with the funeral mass for our beloved SK Michael Senko. We had a great attendance at our first meeting of the new fraternal year for a summer business meeting. Thank you all who attended. I thank our kitchen crew who prepared a delicious dinner for all Sir Knights in attendance. I thank PFN Robert Calabrese, Captain Guy Deluca, SK Tom Potemski, and SK Ron Wolak for all they did cooking, serving and cleanup. It s wonderful now that we are back where our charter originated to have available the hall facility at Santa Maria del Mar which has already enhanced our Assembly meetings. Many Sir Knights marched in the July 4th Flagler Beach parade. I thank the Color Corp and anyone who participated in the special event to celebrate our independence. We plan on helping to support the new Pastor at Santa Maria del Mar, Father Kaz. We are also committed to assisting our church and parish communities. We have committed to help paying for the grounds keeping each month at SMdM. We will help our 3rd degree councils in any way we re able that is appropriate over this new fraternal year. We have included the Assembly Committees listing in our August Newsletter to show our membership the SK s who have been involved in helping our Assembly. If you would like to join a committee, please let me know or contact a member of a committee and ask them how you can get involved. If anyone has an idea for a fund raiser or a patriotic event that we can participate in, please let me or any officer know. I am proud to report that we have 9 candidates who will be attending the 4th Degree Exemplification in Jacksonville at the Marriott Hotel on Salisbury Road on August 18, Members of the Color Corp will be attending and helping with the ceremony. I have requested a meeting with Father Kaz to discuss the installation of officers and other important events, i.e. 911 memorial event and any other information he may wish to discuss. I pray for God to unite our Country and the world, to protect us from harm and evil and to heal the world s unrest so we may live in peace and harmony. Mary, Queen of the Knights keep us in your prayers and guide us to have a wonderful fraternal year. May God Bless you and thank you for your support. 7 Corpus Christi Assembly Participate in July 4 th Parade Corpus Christi Assembly 2810 carried the colors in the Flagler Beach 4th of July Parade. The Assembly was followed in the parade by members and wives of Council from Flagler Beach. Sir Knight Ron Wolak walked the parade route as Christopher Columbus. Council members carried the Council banner while other members handed out KofC tootsie rolls to the enthusiastic crowd of onlookers. Sir Knights, council members, and their wives also waived from the council float that was specially decorated for the event.
