A special thank you to Father Beau Charbonnet, Pastor of St. Angela Merici for allowing the Assembly to conduct its installation and the use of the Msgr. Kern Center. Also thanks to our Faithful Friar, Father S/K Denzil Perera for being on the altar with Father Beau. On Sunday, June 28, 2015, we had the Installation of Officers for the Columbian Year We attended 11:00 AM Mass at St. Angela Merici Church in regalia. After Mass we moved to the Msgr. Kern Center next door for the installation and banquet. Conducting the installation was Master of the 4th Degree for Louisiana, Sir Knight David Lemaire. Helping with the installation was Marshall Sir Knight Leroy Dufrene. My special guest was Former Master Sir Knight Gerard Thomas and his wife, Mary. Former Master S/K Thomas was the Master at the time of my Exemplification in SIR KNIGHT OF THE YEAR was presented to three deserving members of our Assembly: Sir Knight Barry R. Waller, PFN, Sir Knight David R. Grego, PFN and Sir Knight Lynn Boudreaux. Sir Knight Barry Waller as Comptroller and Sir Knight David Grego as Purser keep this Assembly on track and they are a tremendous help to your Faithful Navigator. Sir Knight Lynn Boudreaux has served as Color Corp Commander under three Faithful Navigators. He will be stepping down at the end of June. He was very professional and always made the Color Corp look good. The next meeting will be hosted by Marquette Council Hall, 314 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, 70130, on Wednesday, July 22, Vivat Jesus! Justin S/K Justin D. 3 Page 3 ************************************************************************************************************************************** MEMBERSHIP We need to increase our membership this term and the easiest way to accomplish that is to ASK Brother Knights that are 3 rd Degree Knights in good standing to join us. To that end, we are in need of Sir Knights to visit Councils in regalia to advertise who and what we are and stand for. Please contact our new membership director, Paul Eckert, to volunteer. PAUL.ECKERT2@CHARTISINSURANCE.COM On August 15, 2015, the District of Louisiana has scheduled a Fourth Degree Exemplification at Holy Guardian Angels Mission Church, 1701 Bridge City Avenue Bridge City La Msgr. Paul J. Richard Assembly #2053 will host the Exemplification. The Exemplification will be held in the Msgr. J. Anthony Luminais Educational Building located on the grounds of Holy Guardian Angels Mission Church 1701 Bridge City Avenue, Bridge City, LA. Registration will be from 9:00 A M to 11:00 A M in the Educational Building (Signs will be posted). The banquet will begin at 11:15 A M. The Exemplification will follow, beginning promptly at 1:30 P M and conclude at approximately 3:30 P M. The Vigil Mass will be at 4:00 P M in the Church. The Exemplification cost for candidates is $70.00, which includes their banquet meal, Social Baldric and Fourth Degree Lapel Pin. *************************************************************************************** SIR KNIGHTS PLEASE READ COLOR CORPS CALL OUTS ARE ALL SHOWING ON THE BIENVILLE WEBSITE PLEASE VISIT FOR DATES AND TIMES.
