1 January Grand Knight s Message Brothers As we start this 2018 year please remember our Knights Prayer: Our Lady, Queen of the Knights, bless all the activities of our Order. Keep us true to our pledge, to extend the kingship of thy divine son on earth. Through Thine intercession, win for us the grace, ever to exemplify in our public and private lives, the virtues that should characterize those especially dedicated to the service of the heavenly court. Make us always aware that as your Knights, we are constantly observed, our faith judged, and our Order appreciated. Accept, O Mary, this renewed pledge of fealty and devotion, of Thy Servants, the Knights of Columbus. Michael Restuccia GK Knights of Columbus Free Throw Boys and girls ages 9 to 14 have been invited to participate in our local level of competition for the 2018 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The competition will be held January 20, 2018 at 1pm. (Registration begins at 12:30pm.) at Our Lady of Sorrows gym located at 801 Main Street in Vestal, NY. Please note that participants are required to furnish proof of age. Entry forms will be available at the registration table in the OLS gym. Volunteers are always appreciated for this events. Turkey Party Brother Knights, Our annual 11/17/2017 Turkey Party to benefit Elizabeth Adams medical expenses was successful. Thanks to the 183 attendees, Adams friends, & Our Lady of Sorrows we raised $5,200. Keep Elizabeth in our prayers as she has her forthcoming surgery. Thank you, Charlie DeGregorio

Now is an excellent opportunity to get a jersey. Central NY Chapter Annual Fund Raiser Central New York Chapter s Annual Fund Raiser (Evening Drawing Only) tickets are now out. Tickets are $5.00 each and limited to 1,000 tickets for the month of February. We have 25 tickets to sell for our council. Please see the Grand Knight for tickets, Valentine Dinner K of C Ladies Auxiliary & Brother Knights, Our Valentine Dinner is on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 6:30pm. The sit down dinner will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church café/gym. The dinner menu catered by Clines Catering is: Hors d oeuvres, meatballs and veggies. Caesar salad. Sirloin steak with shrimp or grilled teriyaki chicken breast Oven roasted potatoes.

Brother Third Degree Knights are Strongly Urged to Attend! 4th Degree News The Knights of Columbus 4th degree meets the 3rd Monday of each month with the traditional exceptions of July and August. The 4th degree meetings for Assembly 0725 are held at Endicott Council #1839 meeting room at 7:30pm. The 4th degree meetings are open to all 4th degree Sir Knights with current membership cards from their respective Council and their respective Assembly. Up coming Color Corps. activities are: March 3, 2018, St. Patrick's Mass and Parade in Binghamton starting with Mass at St. Mary's meeting at 11:00am and March 18, 2018 Confirmation at the Church of the Holy Family Endwell meeting at 2:30pm.
