4 Prayer Needs Give praise that the pathology report for Frank and Cheryl Cox s daughter, Charla Arnold came back and the tumors were not cancerous. Pray for healing for Carolyn Laarman, who has suffered a stroke. Pray that Dave Carroll can continue to recover from mini-strokes. Continue to pray for Susan Nixon, mother of Doug Potts, who has cancer in multiple areas. Pray for a relative of Doug Bosch, who was in a serious accident. Pray for Len and Betty Mooi as they will both be having radiation treatments for cancer. Continue to pray for Gary and Helen Klumpenhower as Helen continues in hospice care. If you would like to receive mid-week prayer updates by or phone, please contact Tammy in the church office. Continue to pray for Willene Tanis as she recovers from a broken leg. Continue to pray for Jacklin Kinzer who has been suffering with the shingles. She is healing and is feeling much better. She wants to thank the congregation so much for their continued prayers. Pray for Jacquelyn Potts as she is in the hospital with pneumonia and is dealing with a hypothyroid as well. Continue to pray for Gary and Helen Klumpenhower as Helen continues in hospice care. Continue to pray for Dan Wilmot, Sally Godo, Delores Flanagan, Linda Williams, and Stephanie Vermuelen's grandmother as they continue treatment for cancer. 5 Guest Information Welcome! You are among friends at Imlay City CRC. We are the young and old, the experienced Christians, the brand new Christians, and those who are just curious about Jesus Christ. We are families, singles, students, kids, and couples. Wherever you are coming from, and wherever you are at, you are welcome to come as you are to Imlay City CRC! The service lasts about 75 minutes, then please stay for a cup of coffee or lemonade in the fellowship hall following the service. Guests are encouraged to fill out the communication card found in your bulletin, and drop it in the offering plate as it comes by. Please take a moment and visit the Welcome Center where you can receive additional information about our church. If you are a regular attendee of Imlay City CRC, we would like to provide you with a mail box. Please submit your request to Tammy in the church office Children s Bulletins and fun pages are available on clipboards in the lobby. Nursery care is offered during the morning service near the west entrance for infants and toddlers through age 3. Please honor the age limit. Immediately following worship, please meet your children at the nursery area. Children s Message during the service, children of all ages are invited to come forward to sit at the front of the church and hear a message designed especially for them. Children s Worship all children ages 3 years old through 3rd grade are invited to join Children s Worship, which takes place during the church service. Wait for Pastor Dave to announce the Children s Message, after which the children will be dismissed from the sanctuary for Children s Worship. Out of respect for others, please silence your cell phone. Restrooms are located just past the lobby on the right hand side of the hallway. Wednesday Night Family Night This will take place the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, October March. Dinner is served from 6:00-6:45 pm and classes are from 6:45-8:00 pm. for grades PreK-12 meets immediately after the worship until 12:15 pm, during the school year (September May). Please refer to your building map for where the classes meet. 6 ANNOUNCEMENTS FALL MEN'S BREAKFAST: On October 25th, there will be a breakfast in our church fellowship hall, prepared by women volunteers. Men, watch the bulletin board for more information and women, for how you can help. WOMEN'S FALL STUDY: This study challenges women to let God break their hearts for a hurting, lost world and move them in compassion to lead people to Jesus. Nehemiah is a 7 week study, by Kelly Minter, that will be led by June Duthler beginning October 7th and 8th on Tuesday evenings from 7-8:30 and Wednesday mornings, 9: Sign up at the Women's Ministries table by the drinking fountain. THE BOOK CLUB will meet on October 16 at 6:30 pm at Willene Tanis's home. We are reading and discussing "Love Finds You in Lonesome Prairie Montana" by Tricia Goyer. Please see Sue Mooi for a copy of the book and to arrange for a ride to Willene's house. Please consider joining us. MUSIC MINISTRY is looking for help. Music is a great way to praise God and if you are willing to share your gift with the congregation please let us know.
