But it is deeper than those family relationships. Glory Tanis would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love through your prayers, cards, and concerns during her recent surgery. CHILDREN S MINISTRY We are in search for a new Children's Ministries Coordinator. This position will be posted this week and next in the bulletin. If you are interested, please ask Norm Tanis for a Position Description Sheet. Jennifer French will be moving to the Toledo area very soon due to a promotion that her husband, Tom, was granted in Ohio. Much has to take place with the selling of their home and other transitional things, so Jennifer will be available to help train the new coordinator for a smooth transition. We thank Jennifer for blessing us with her gifts with children and VBS and many other areas in church. We are grateful for the years that she has pointed our children to Christ in this community. JOURNEY THROUGH THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR Beth Van Dyk will be leading this study in her home. Classes will be once a month, every third Tuesday from 6:30-8pm and third Wednesday 12:45-2:15pm. COLLEGE CARE PACKAGES Congregational life is looking for donations to fill boxes for our college students. Some ideas are: cookies, gum, popcorn, candy, granola bars, fruit roll-ups/bars, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, toothpaste, Kleenex, pens, etc. We have 22 boxes to fill this year. There will be baskets in the lobby for you to put your donated items in. Thank you in advance for your help. MOMS NEXT is a ministry to mothers of school-age kids that will be starting up in February. This group is open to all mothers of school-age children to come just as they are and connect with other Mothers and experience personal growth, practical help, and spiritual hope. We will meet the 1st Monday of each month from 7 to 9pm, starting February 3. Prayer Needs Continue to pray for Terry Gebhardt as he recovers from pneumonia. Pray for Mike and June Touchette and Mike's mom as they moved Mike's dad to a home because of his dementia.

4 Prayer Needs Continue to pray for Terry Gebhardt as he recovers from pneumonia. Pray for Mike and June Touchette and Mike's mom as they moved Mike's dad to a home because of his dementia. Continue to pray for Tammy Lesniak's sister, Terry, who has a fast growing brain tumor. Pray for Marcia Poolman, Jack Hoeksema's sister, who is having a biopsy on her kidney today to see if the spot they found is cancerous. Continue to pray for healing for Dave Sidell. Praise God for a good report from the doctors for Glory Tanis. She is cancer free. Continue to pray for Mira Miller who had a successful surgery. She is on heart bypass for a couple of days to give her heart a break. Pray for Dan Wilmot who has lymphoma cancer and is currently in the hospital due to complications with his chemo treatments. Pray that his cancer goes into remission. If you would like to receive mid-week prayer updates by or phone, please contact Tammy in the church office. Pray for Scott Tanis who has a tumor on his pituitary gland. He will have another MRI in six weeks to determine what needs to be done. Continue to pray for the search for a Children's Ministries Coordinator. Praise be to God that the Women's Bible reading/study group at Beth Van Dyk's house is growing with women who are seeking and love God's Word. Pray for comfort for Frank and Cheryl Cox as they deal with their dogs liver cancer. Continue to pray for Leonard Mooi, Cleta Juip and Lois Sample as they deal with cancer. Continue to pray for the shut-ins of our church and their needs. 5 Guest Information Welcome! You are among friends at Imlay City CRC. We are the young and old, the experienced Christians, the brand new Christians, and those who are just curious about Jesus Christ. We are families, singles, students, kids, and couples. Wherever you are coming from, and wherever you are at, you are welcome to come as you are to Imlay City CRC! The service lasts about 75 minutes, then please stay for a cup of coffee or lemonade in the fellowship hall following the service. Guests are encouraged to fill out the communication card found in your bulletin, and drop it in the offering plate as it comes by. Please take a moment and visit the Welcome Center where you can receive additional information about our church. If you are a regular attendee of Imlay City CRC, we would like to provide you with a mail box. Please submit your request to Tammy in the church office Children s Bulletins and fun pages are available on clipboards in the lobby. Nursery care is offered during the morning service near the west entrance for infants and toddlers through age 3. Please honor the age limit. Immediately following worship, please meet your children at the nursery area. All children ages 3-8 are invited to join Children s Worship, which takes place during the church service. Wait for Pastor Dave to announce the Children s Message, after which the children will be dismissed from the sanctuary for Children s Worship. Out of respect for others, please silence your cell phone. Restrooms are located just past the lobby on the right hand side of the hallway. Wednesday Night Family Night This will take place the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month, October March. Dinner is served from 6:00-6:45 pm and classes are from 6:45-8:00 pm. Sunday School for grades PreK-12 meets immediately after the worship until 12:15 pm, during the school year (September May). Please refer to your building map for where the classes meet. It is a 7-8 week study, starting April 16, offered on Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 and again on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30. (Note there will not be a Tuesday class.) MIDWINTER DINNER: Join us Saturday, February 22 at 6:00 pm for our Midwinter Dinner, followed by some great entertainment by the musical group The Bullfrogs. They will perform at 7:00 pm. VENDOR FAIR There is going to be a vendor fair and craft show at ICCS on Feb 8, 11 am to 3 pm. Stop on out and see what the offerings are. If you are a vendor or a crafter, call the school to rent a spot.
