1 Molded into God s Purpose Part 2 Acts 9:1-19; Ephesians 4:15 9:30 a.m. We have been in a series where we are studying why God made us in His image and the purpose for living. We have learned: 1. Our first purpose is to God. 2. The second purpose was to be formed for or being part of God s family. 3. The third purpose is that God created us to become like Christ. This is also called. We are reminded that discipleship has two parts God s part and your part. 1. Changing your. To change your life, you must change the way you. let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God s will for you. Romans 12:2 2. God has a purpose behind every problem. Three unexpected tools: God uses to teach us to Him. trouble produces patience. And patience produces character, and character produces hope. Romans 5:3-4 God uses to teach us to. Keep focused on thoughts. Fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Philippians 4:8 God uses to teach us to. Trespasses are situations by other people to hurt us. Ananias Go over to straight street and (get Paul!) Acts 9:11 Remember God is in. You meant to hurt me, but God turned your evil into good to save the lives of many people which is being done. Genesis 50:20 (NCV) As we grow in discipleship, we can be confident of how God wants us to respond regardless of what we are facing. He wants us to grow into the character of Christ Jesus! Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Philippians 2:5 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.
