We find the answer in the steps Jesus took in revealing himself to his disciples after his resurrection from the dead. Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for our sin, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2 1. that God is with me. * When we are hurting we where God is. the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid. John 20:19 * Three things to remember when we are in pain: A. God is. You (God) keep a close watch on all my paths. Job 13:27 B. God. The Lord is a good refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him. Nahum 1:7 C. God seeks to you. Let us approach God with confidence, so we may receive mercy and grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 2. the hurt. * How? I must stop focusing on what s and start focusing on what s. See, I am doing a new thing, says the Lord. Isaiah 43:18 * God is with me! As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side! They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord. John 20:20 3. on God s resources. *Receive God s! This is His Word! Again, (Jesus) said, Peace be with you! *Rejoice in God s. - We were not made to be from each other! The church is family. Why? To encourage you! We have seen the Lord! John 20:24 *Receive the! Then Jesus breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit. John 20:22 - The Holy Spirit is called the! - The Holy Spirit comes into your life to comfort you and to help you what God wants you to be! Be that God knows your sense of loss, your hurt and your pain! He came to give hope, comfort and care to who we are as children of a Risen Lord! Peace be with you. Project Crossroads' mission is to serve the needs of God's children through home repair, new home construction, firewood delivery, and emergency assistance.
