Why do we worship the way we do at Carolina? That's a great question! Each church is different in it's style, song selection, and order of service. At Carolina Presbyterian Church, our goal is to do everything in worship in a manner that glorifies God and edifies our congregation. The elders, in conjunction with the deacons and worship committee, have spent many months over the last year praying about what worship should look like at Carolina. Below is a philosophy of worship statement, formed by our church leaders. What you will find below shouldn't be new or shocking to anyone who's been here for a while: it's actually what we've already been doing for most of the last year. However, we thought it would be helpful to put into words what we are trying to accomplish, for the sake of good communication. As always, please come and talk with any church leader if you have questions about this. We are thrilled to join with you in the worship of our Lord together! Carolina PCA Philosophy of Worship: At Carolina Presbyterian Church, we desire to worship God in a manner that is both glorifying to God and edifying to our congregation. To glorify God, we seek to worship him with excellence, with an attitude of reverence (considering God s holiness) and celebration (considering God s grace), with a Christcentered focus rooted in reformed theology and founded on the word of God. To edify our congregation, we seek to worship God with some stylistic variation that reflects some of the preferences of our multi-generational church and community. We seek to employ these different styles in a way that promotes love and unity within the same worship service.

Hispanic Worship Service Tonight at 5:30pm Christmas Schedule Monday, December 26th - Tuesday, December 27th - Church Office Closed Wednesday, December 28th - No Wednesday Night Program Men s Breakfast & Bible Study Saturday, January 14th at 7:30am in the Family Life Center Dining Hall Baby Bottle Boomerang Sunday, January 15 th Baby bottles will be available to pick up on Sunday, January 15th at the back of the Sanctuary for the Pregnancy Resource Center of Stanly County s (PRC) Baby Bottle Boomerang. Please take a bottle and place it in a strategic place as a reminder to pray for the safety and salvation of mothers and their unborn children. Fill the bottles with cash, coins, or check, as an offering to help those families in need. Return the bottles to the church on or before Sunday, February 5th. Monies collected through this mission will be your way of partnering with PRC in offering the love, hope, and truth of Jesus Christ to our community by befriending, educating, comforting, and supporting abortion-vulnerable adults and teens before, during, and after pregnancy.
