ASH WEDNESDAY Ash Wednesday Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 5, 7:00 p.m. at Sons of Zebedee, St. James in Oakfield. LARRY RICHARDS This year during the Lenten Season, St. Mary Parish will make time for reflection and prayer by viewing 4 talks by Fr. Larry Richards. A well-known Catholic speaker. Please join us for an hour long video and prayer to follow. March 16-The Truth, March 23-The Mass Explained, March 30th-Knowing god s Will and April 6-Confession. Each video will start at 6 p.m. and is approximately an hour long. Optional quiet reflection and prayer afterward. Confirmation News Our High School Juniors from St. Mary will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this Sunday, March 2 nd, along with students from St. James and St. John. The Confirmation Mass is 2 p.m. at St. Mary. Bishop Donald J. Hying will preside. We are very proud of our confirmands. They have prayed and studied to prepare their hearts and minds for this moment of grace. Please join me in praying for them and their families. I want to thank these students and their parents for responding to Christ's call and drawing closer to God and His Church. 5 Old Fashioned Pancake Supper St Stephen s Lutheran Church invites you to a pancake supper, Monday, March 3, 2014 from 4:30 7:30pm.
