Dear Father Rick, Gree ngs from Tenafly Trust you are fine and everyone around you. This is simply my sincere gra tude to you for your kind gestures towards me and the Society of African Missions and the Propaga on of the Faith. We are indeed very grateful. The Society of African Missions will always remember and you will be remembered in our prayers. May our great God keep you in good health and bless you always. Once again I would like to thank all of our parishioners for your support in raising $5,169 to con nue spreading the Good News of our Lord Jesus to the neediest people of Africa. 2 RELIGIOUS EDUCATION UPDATES There will be an important Catechist Mee ng on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. It is required that all Catechists, Teachers Aides and Hall Monitors a end this mee ng. We have new Safety Policies and Procedures that we will be implemen ng per the Diocese of Metuchen. You will also be given all your material for the Religious Ed. School Year. Catechists Needed Our Religious Educa on Program for the School Year begins on Monday, September 17, If you have some me to spare, love working with children and have a love for Jesus please consider joining our team. Call the Parish Office to see what grades and days are available. No experience necessary: You will be trained and we will provide all the materials needed to teach your class. 3 ROSARY ALTAR SOCIETY The mission of the Society is to honor the Blessed Mother by proclaiming the Good News of Christ, her Son, in our members' lives and in rela onships with others; to promote the praying of the Rosary; to encourage a spirit of friendship and coopera on among its members and to par cipate in parish ac vi es. Parish Organizations and Info OUR LADY ROSARY MAKERS Please join us as we make rosaries sent to missions around the world. It is fun, easy, inexpensive and very rewarding! We meet in the Conference Room on the second Tuesday of each month following the 9am Mass and Rosary. The Blessed Sacrament Council of Catholic Women s mission is to respond with Christian values to the needs of women and their families. We are here to unite women of our Parish, to develop their spiritual growth and leadership potential and to encourage women to share their gifts from God with others in our Church and community. VOCATIONS TRAVELING CHALICE PROGRAM The Voca on Seekers give special thanks to those who take the voca ons traveling chalice home and pray for Voca ons, par cularly for seminarians in the Diocese of Metuchen. Please consider taking the chalice home to pray for voca ons. Your prayers are truly being answered! We especially need volunteers for August.
