Putano for information prior to the birth of the child. For adults, contact Fr. Charles for the RCIA process. Marriage Arrangements must be made at least six months in advance with Fr. Charles or Msgr. Putano. One of the parties must be registered in the parish. Hospitalized Please notify the parish office when a family member is in the hospital. Very often we do not receive this information. Anointing of the Sick If you are preparing to enter the hospital for any reason and would like to be anointed, please contact the parish offices. Low Gluten hosts are available for anyone who is gluten intolerant. Please stop in the sacristy before Mass to let us know. Bulletin available on either parish website.

3 Our Parishes & Pastoral Care Area St. Cyril s Ethnic Dinner will be held this Sunday, April 15 beginning at 11:30am in the Parish Hall. The dinner includes halupki, pierogi, kielbasa, halushki, and homemade desserts. There will also be hot dogs for the kids! Adults are $12 and children ages 5-12 are $4. Take out and eat LEGION OF MARY ACIES CEREMONY will be held this Sunday April 15 at St. Thomas Aquinas 2:00 pm. The Legion will hold its annual consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary and we invite all active & supporting auxiliary members and all friends of Mary to join us. St. Cyril s Spring Clothing Giveaway, Saturday, May 19 We are in need of Spring and Summer clothing for our Spring clothing giveaway. Children s clothes of all sizes are especially needed. We are also looking to give away children s books. Any and all donations are appreciated! There will be a planning meeting for the Spring Giveaway on Sunday, April 22 at 11:15am in the St. Cyril s Parish Hall. All are welcome to attend. We are looking for volunteers to work the Clothing Center on Wednesdays from 11am- 1pm, May through October. Join the St. Cyril & Methodius team in the Walk to End Alzheimer s on Saturday April 28, 2018 at Binghamton University West Gym. Contact Anne at if you want to participate. You can register the day of the walk or online at alz.org/ walk. The team name is StCyrilWalkers. Registration at SUNY begins at 9 AM with the Opening Ceremony at 10 AM and the walk starting at 10:15 AM. Any funds that you have raised can be turned in that day before the opening ceremony. Seller set up begins at 8am. The seller fee is $7 if you provide your own table or rack, and $10 to rent a long table from us. You keep the rest of your earnings. Call Anne at for more information or to reserve a spot. Holy Trinity Altar Rosary will meet on Tuesday, April 17 at 1pm to recite the rosary. The featured speaker at our meeting will be Courtney Cashman from the Office for the Aging. Courtney will provide an overview of services offered through OFA and will also bring enrollment forms to become members of OFA. THERE IS NO CHARGE TO JOIN but you must be enrolled to utilize their many services. All are invited to join us as we learn about this important community resource. An Organ Update from our Music Director St. Cyril s new organ was installed just in time for Holy Week. I ve enjoyed hearing everyone s positive reactions, including those who couldn t tell the difference from the old organ! Some parts of the old organ were removed and are safely stored on premises. The old wiring, which posed a serious fire risk, aside from major mechanical errors with the instrument, was also removed. Thank you to all who have and are generously contributing to our organ fund. Through your support, we can continue to praise God through glorious song! FRANK A. JOHNSON AMERICAN LEGION POST 758 will hold a breakfast buffet Saturday, April 28, 8-11 am at Sara Jane Johnson Church Dining room, 308 Main St., Johnson City. 4 APRIL 15 EASTER SEASON Alpha Youth All Senior High youth and Young Adults are invited to attend ALPHA YOUTH, an interactive Film Series designed to engage students in conversations about faith, life and Jesus! Every ALPHA YOUTH session has 3 key elements: Food, Talk & Discussion. ALPHA YOUTH runs on Saturdays from 5-6:30pm at a different parish in Broome County each week. Laimons and Sylvia Drupa Scholarship The Binghamton Garden Club is offering this scholarship in the amount of $10,000 to a graduating senior attending a Broome County high school. The selected senior must major in a university undergraduate program in horticulture, environmental studies, botany, landscape architecture, biology (not pre-med), or another related field. The award has the potential of being awarded for multiple years if all requirements are met. Interested applicants should contact their school Guidance Counselor. All lot holders and their families are welcome to attend. Usual cemetery business will be conducted, as well as the election of officers for April 2018-April Attention St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery Lot Holders and Descendants of Lot Holders Spring is here! Please clean up and take away for disposal at your home the Fall, Christmas, and/or faded decorations on your family graves. It is time to refresh with newer decorations. Remember that glass and/or ceramic of any kind, wires, shepherd s hooks, etc. are not allowed at the cemetery. It is when we begin to share with others about our experience of Jesus in our lives that Jesus will give us direction and guidance as to what he really desires for us.
