If you are a visitor we invite you to complete the yellow card in the red folder at the end of the row. Place it in the offering plate so we can record your information. The Passing of the Peace Prelude Call to Worship (adapted from Psalm 78) One: Those who have ears, let them hear; Those who take heart in the Lord, let them rise up in faith; All: We shall proclaim our hope in the Lord and never forget the works of our God. One: The miracles of the Lord are beyond compare, Too many to count and too great to consider. All: God divides the sea so we can pass through, Leading us day and night so we are never mistaken; One: The Lord commanded the skies above to rain down food for us to eat; God s angels attend to our every need. All: Even when we test God, the Most High, we are delivered. Praise the Lord of righteousness. Praise the Lord. * Hymn No. 133 Leaning on the Everlasting Arms Ministry Moment Prayer of Confession (11:00) Julia Lopp Almighty God, we confess how hard it is to be your people. You have called us to be the church, to continue the mission of Jesus Christ to our lonely and confused world. Yet we acknowledge we are more apathetic than active, isolated than involved, callous than compassionate, obstinate than obedient, legalistic than loving. Gracious Lord, have mercy upon us and forgive our sins. Remove the obstacles preventing us from being your representatives to a broken world. Awaken our hearts to the promised gift of your indwelling Spirit. This we pray in Jesus powerful name. Amen. Prayers for the People Silent Prayer The Lord s Prayer Offering & Offertory It Is Well With My Soul Doxology Praise God, from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him, all creatures here below; Praise Him above, ye heavenly host; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen. Offertory Prayer Hymn No. 189 Fairest Lord Jesus During the hymn we invite the children to come to the front of the church for the children s message.
