6 Join us to make Lefse in December at the home of Myrna and Bob Ulland Lefse (leff'-sah) is a traditional Norwegian flatbread made from potatoes, flour, cream, butter, and a little salt and sugar. It s much like a soft tortilla and eaten with a meal or as a little dessert, spread with butter and sprinkled with sugar or brown sugar or topped with your favorite jam or jelly. It's traditionally made and enjoyed around the holidays. This December, Ullands are hosting five lefse-making sessions at their home in Legend Trail to introduce you to lefse (if you've never made it or tried it) or to "get your lefse on" if you love the stuff! We'll meet on Monday, December 3 at 7 pm; Tuesday, December 4 at 7 pm; Sunday December 9 at 7 pm; and Monday, December 10 at both 2 pm and 7 pm. Space is limited to about 8 people each session to allow for hands on fun and learning! Sign up on the sheets in the Narthex. Lefse is for lovers! Join us for Piece-Makers on December 9:00am in the Fellowship Hall ELCA GOOD GIFTS The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is a church that is called to do God s work in the world. Together as the ELCA, we do more than we could ever do alone; grow our congregations, inspire new leaders, and care for those around the world who live with hunger and poverty. ELCA Good Gifts are a creative way to do just that. Your gifts go beyond your regular congregational offering to support the ministries of the ELCA that mean the most to you and your loved ones. Each ELCA Good Gift changes at least three lives: The life of the person helped by your gift, the life of your friend or loved one, and your own. Catalogs, gift cards, sticker and ideas will all be available every Sunday during Advent. Now is the time to grab your holiday shopping list and browse the new ELCA Good Gifts catalog. Each of these gifts has the remarkable capacity to transform lives... all in God's name.

9 Join us for Women s Bible Study Tuesday Women s 10 am We have begun our 3-session study from the Gather magazine on the theme of Repentance for three weeks. This study s author is The Rev.
