2 208 THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS BASKETS MINISTRY APPLICATION INFORMATION: APPLICATIONS CAN ONLY BE RECEIVED FROM AND MUST BE RETURNED TO A LOCATION OF THE BEATITUDE HOUSE MINISTRY. Any church that wishes to have applications to use in ministering to families in their community may contact the Beatitude House location closest to them, during normal operating hours, and request applications. We ask that each church only submit five (5) applications maximum so that we can minister to as many different families and areas as possible. If you would like to be part of this wonderful ministry by providing NEW TOYS ONLY, here are some guidelines to follow: Types of Toys NEEDED: Barbie and Ken Dolls and Accessories (clothes, cars, etc...) Action figures Baby Dolls and Accessories (beds, strollers, clothes, etc..) Remote Controlled Cars, Trucks, Helicopters, etc. Building and Construction sets ( K NEX, etc..) Basketballs, Footballs, and Soccer balls Musical Toys and Instruments Stuffed Animals Sleeping Bags Electronic games Riding toys (for younger and older children: scooters, skateboards, etc.) To volunteer contact: Robert Ivey at Monetary donations are greatly appreciated Items for Boys & Girls ages & 2 years old (very big need) Types of Toys NOT NEEDED: Items not Christ honoring in nature: monsters, magic, violence, etc., games that promote Gambling, Swimming pool toys and infant toys

4 NSRBA Holiday Schedule 5 Crazy Pastor Appreciation Month Ideas Feed him (and his family) well! Or ganize meals to be brought to his home every evening for a week. Watch his kids, and let him take his wife out on a date. You can even give them gift car ds to a restaurant that you know is their favorite. Find out his (and his wife s) favorite desserts, and have one or two ( or three) Sunday evening fellowships with those desserts. Strange that so many of my ideas center around food. Honor his wife. The pastor s wife is often the hardest working, and least recognized church member. She sacrifices. She sets an example. Although she s honored that the church would appreciate her husband one month per year, it wouldn t hurt to show her a little appreciation this month as well. And the pastor would greatly appreciate you doing so. Give him money. Let s be honest. He could probably use a little more. Helping with a Children s Block Party for Redemption City Church. Participating in the Day of Hope Community Day with Epiphany Church. Preparing over 300 book bags which they helped to pass out at the Back to School Party with Christian Liberty Church. How You Can Be Involved: Prayer, watch for Prayer Request in The Weekly Connection. Plan a 209 Mission Trip to Baltimore. Contact one of our partners and schedule a time to take a mission trip when you can be of most aid to them and their ministry to the

This is a great way to record your church s historical information as well as keep your leadership current. Your church profile has been mailed to your church clerk.
