5 BEREAVEMENT GROUP AT ST. ANDREW CHURCH IN AVENEL St. Andrew Church is sponsoring a Bereavement Group. If you have recently lost a loved one and in need of comforting support, then please come to our group which will be held in the rectory chapel on October 29 at 7:30 PM. Please call Fr. David at the rectory: if you plan to attend. The group meets for eight sessions. Stewardship of Creation It must be said that some committed and prayerful Christians, with the excuse of realism and pragmatism, tend to ridicule expressions of concern for the environment. Others are passive; they choose not to change their habits and thus become inconsistent. So what they all need is an "ecological conversion," whereby the effects of their encounter with Jesus Christ becomes evident in their relationship with the world around them. Living our vocations to be protectors of God's handiwork is essential to a life of virtue; it is not an optional or a secondary aspect of our Christian experience. - Pope Francis On Care for Our Common Home Mother Seton Regional High School One Valley Rd., Clark, NJ FAX Website: OPEN HOUSE: Tuesday, November 3rd -- 7:00-9:00 p.m. for girls in grades 5-8: High School Night POCKETBOOK BINGO: Friday, November 13th -- 6:00-10:00 p.m. URGENT NEED - SPANISH INTERPRETERS If you are fluent in Spanish and have some free time - we have a place for you.
