1 The Trinity Times June 2017 Volume 18 Keeping you informed of the timely happenings, news, Mission and ministry of Trinity Christian Church A Word from Terry Where there is no vision the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Mt. 19:14 In just a few days the pitter patter of younger feet will be heard and seen at Trinity! It is always an exciting time of year! The hearts of each one who comes and each one who volunteers is always touched in some way by the love of God! Through the years I have asked some people if they attended church. One answer I have received more than once is "No, but I did go to Vacation Bible School!" It is our prayer that young people of all ages would see the importance of learning and growing in the house of God. It is our prayer that this would happen on a consistent basis. But sadly we live in a day where local church involvement is at an all time low. Vacation Bible School is opportunity not only to touch the lives of faithful young people who attend. But also to reach out to young people who may not be familiar or haven't heard about the good news of Jesus. When we realize this, our hearts should be ready, willing and able to do whatever we can to be a tool in the hands of our loving Lord! Praise God for the creative energy that has already gone into the planning for "Campout - Getting S'more of Jesus!" It's another exciting way of presenting the Gospel to the kids and their families at the Wednesday night program. Please be lifting up in prayer each and everyone involved in Trinity's VBS! God is getting ready to bless us in a powerful ways! Until He returns! Terry

Support Groups Schedules vary (Contact Terry for additional information) We All Fall Short After worship, do you ever feel guilty or like you re falling short, spiritually speaking? Do you try to compensate by being more scrupulous in your religious life? Remember that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23, NRSV). Nevertheless, when we truly repent and ask for forgiveness, we should accept it fully. After all, God doesn t keep score. He accepts us and offers us grace without measure. Pray for our Family and Friends! Please pray for the following members, loved ones and friends who need to be lifted up to the Father s throne: Joe Amsden; Bill Applegate; Frank Andrew; Gary Ballantyne; Marvin Barth; Eldon Binning; George Bishop; Rod and Carol Ann Bollinger; Gary Boswell; Jeff Boswell; Candy Braby; Hazel Braby; Marilynn Braby; Thayis Breckenridge; Roberta Brown; Orville & Ruth Dale; John & Pam Dowell; Maizel Dunn; Chris Dykes; Charlotte Elliott; Ralph Evans; Larry & Jeannie Eivins; Randy Fox; Fred Frank; Joel Greiner; Dale Harrington; Andrew Hastings; Craig Havener; Trent Helton; Garry Hill; Darrell Jennings; Rova Johnston; Jim Kemp; Dan Klein; Troy Kunze; Maggie Leonard; Mick & Brenda McBride; Melba McDaniel; Karen Meyer; Military personnel and families; Thelma Miller; Marge Mitchell; Oliver & Mary Mothershead; Sara McAlexander; Patty Oliver; Jeremy Parsons; Glenn Payton; Darrel Porter; Michael Redman; Eldon Reed; Pam Robison; Michael Rousch; Jim Routh; Robin & Doug Schwandt; Dianne & Larry Schultes; Samuel Spurgeon; Doris Swigart; Andrea Swennumson; Kris Tait; Bonnie Thomas; Trinity Leadership & Missionaries; Travis Vaughn; Shelly Waugh; Carol & Darrell Wilcoxson; Caroll Woodard; Alva & Alma Yoder; George Yoder; Marletta Warren; Karen Zion God s grace is greater than any or all the sins we commit. It s not necessary to keep beating ourselves up over our shortcomings. That is painful scrupulosity and negative thinking. Focus instead on God s love, which is greater than any human mind can fully fathom. As a family of believers committed to serving and glorifying God, we seek opportunities to share the joy of Christ and His Word with people of all ages everywhere.
