Requesting that your baby be baptized here is about your family joining our parish family. It's not just a onetime event, but the gateway to the rest of the Sacraments of the Church, and as such, ensuring that families are properly disposed to introduce their child(ren) to a sacramental life is essential. In particular, parents wishing to have their child(ren) baptized here, must be registered, regularly attend, and actively support (either with Envelopes or Faith Direct), the parish in order to schedule a Baptismal date. Anonymous contributions are not verifiable. How do we schedule a Baptism date? As part of the communal nature of celebrating Baptism, and to maintain the appropriate dignity and order of this sacred celebration, up to 8 infants are grouped together within a particular schedule of Dates, according to the Church s availability and schedule of other commitments. Also, note that Baptisms are not scheduled during certain liturgical times of the year (Advent, Lent), so please consult the schedule of Baptism dates as listed on our website to plan the Baptism of your child accordingly. Contact the Parish Office for further information if necessary. How do I start the process? To schedule a date for Baptism and/or request to have Baptism elsewhere, please download, complete and return the form on our website along with at least one sponsor form and a copy of the child's birth certificate to the parish office. All requests for Baptism forms must be submitted with at least one original church sealed sponsor form and a copy of the birth certificate of the child. Dates are only confirmed once all documents are submitted and all requirements are met. Thank you for your kind understanding.

5 NATIONAL MARRIAGE WEEK IS FEBRUARY 7-14! PRAYER FOR MARRIED COUPLES God our Father, we give you thanks for the gift of marriage: the bond of life and love, and the font of the family. The love of husband and wife enriches your Church with children, fills the world with a multitude of spiritual fruitfulness and service, and is the sign of the love of your Son, Jesus Christ, for his Church. The grace of Jesus flowed forth at Cana at the request of the Blessed Mother. May your Son, through the intercession of Mary, pour out upon us a new measure of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit as we join with all people of good will to promote and protect the unique beauty of marriage. May your Holy Spirit enlighten our society to treasure the heroic love of husband and wife, and guide our leaders to sustain and protect the singular place of mothers and fathers in the lives of their children. Father, we ask that our prayers be joined to those of the Virgin Mary, that your Word may transform our service so as to safeguard the incomparable splendor of marriage. We ask all these things through Christ our Lord, Amen. Pre-Cana Pre-Cana is a one-day mandatory workshop with other couples preparing for a Catholic Marriage. About the Artist Kristin Dabaghian is the Associate Organist at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, and previously served as Organist and Director of Music at St. Paul RC Church in Ramsey, New Jersey, and St. John the Baptist in Hillsdale, New Jersey. She holds a Master s degree in organ performance from Manhattan School of Music, and a Bachelor s degree in piano from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. She has accompanied many Broadway artists and theater companies, and has conducted at the NYC Fringe Festival and New World Stages. 7 ANNOUNCEMENTS WOMEN'S COMMISSION DAY OF REFLECTION: Saturday, March 9, 2019, at Seton Hall University. This year's theme is ''Alive in Christ... Finding Our True Identity". The English track will feature keynote speakers Mary Rice Hasson who is the Kate O'Beirne Fellow in Catholic Studies at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, D.C. She also directs the Catholic Women's Forum, and is an expert on topics related to women, faith, culture, family, sexual morality, and gender ideology, and Gloria Purvis who is the Creator of Authentically Free at Last show on EWTN. She is the host of Morning Glory EWTN radio show, and one of the editors of the African American Youth Bible. The day begins at 8:00 AM with registration and ends at 4:00 pm with Mass. CATHOLIC MEN'S CONFERENCE: Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Seton Hall University This year's theme, for the English track, is "For a time such as this, Holiness and Hope!" The speaker for the English track will be Father Larry Richards, the founder and president of The Reason for Our Hope Foundation, a non- profit organization dedicated to 'spreading the Good News' by educating others about Jesus Christ and hosts various radio shows and programs on EWTN. The master of ceremonies, Gregory Floyd, is the Executive Vice President of Mission at Eva's Village. He is a husband, father, author and speaker. The day begins at 8:00 AM with breakfast and ends at 4:30 PM. Registration for both events is $25 for adults. Priests & religious are free. The day includes continental breakfast and lunch. More information will become available in January on these websites at (WOMEN) or (MEN) "SURVIVING DIVORCE" There's no such thing as "Catholic divorce" but the bad news is Catholics do civilly divorce. "Surviving Divorce" is a program here to help, and to encourage healing through the Sacraments where the participants personally encounter Christ-with all His love and tender mercies. Thousands of years ago the blind, deaf and dumb ran to Jesus for healing and He still invites them to come to Him today. Those who are in need of healing from civil divorce or separation want to learn how to rebuild their lives. There is hope when experiencing the love of Jesus Christ through His church & people.
