If you do, please contact the Parish Office. We are near the end of this year s Catholic Stewardship Appeal. For each one of you who chose to give back gratefully to God through a contribution to the CSA, we are deeply appreciative. Catholics are a community of faith, and you recognize that members of any community, particularly the Body of Christ, have a responsibility to each other. For those who have not yet joined your fellow Catholics in support of the CSA, we urge you to pray about it. It is not too late and no gift is too small. All credits and thanks go to our school kids, the faculties and staff for the remarkable service done to the deceased of our parish. In the afternoon on October 31st, we all went in procession to the cemetery and back reciting the litany of all saints led by Josh Vandike, the principal. After we got there, kids went in groups and laid the LED lights on the graves and along the road in the cemetery. Truly our kids were enthused to do such service for those have been laid rest in our parish cemetery. I do thank all those parents who made some contributions to it. This noble idea was found by Rosie Beck a couple of years ago. It was indeed a great show for all of us. I do thank Janet Buschjost and her place of employment, as well as, Deacon Steve for taking trouble to get three chairs to the sanctuary which looks impressive. I do hope that building and ground committee will look into the rest of what has been suggested to have more space and better look at the sanctuary. SEE INSERT: From the Pastor continued.. School News: GRACIOUS THANK YOU! Thanks to all those who donated towards the cemetery lights for All Saint s. If you were able to see the cemetery either night, you know it really looked nice! MUFFINS WITH MOM! Calling all moms! Now it s time for you to mark your calendar for Wednesday, November 14th, when we will celebrate Mass and afterwards move over to school for fun and fellowship. If mom can t make it, a substitute mom may attend. We look forward to having our moms at school! SANTA STORE - We will have a Santa Store again this year on Tuesday, December 18th from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm and are asking for donations as well as volunteers to help out. Donated items may be new or gently used items for moms, dads, siblings, grandparents, etc. We usually run short on men and boy items. Please send any donation anytime. Thank you very much! SCHOOL CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - The date has been set for the school Christmas program - Thursday, December 6th at 6:30 pm. The make-up date will be Sunday, December 9th at 10:30 am. Dress rehearsal will be Wednesday, December 5 th at 9:00 am, after Mass. BLESS THE BABY JESUS! OLOSS students will be able to bring the Baby Jesus from your home Nativity set to Mass on Wednesday, December 19th for blessing. Fr. Alex will do this blessing sometime during the Mass that morning. Parishioners are welcome to bring their Baby Jesus as well. GERBES COMMUNITY REWARDS: The school recently received a check from Gerbes in the amount of $ Here is how you can help with this fundraising effort: OLOS is enrolled in the Gerbes Community Rewards program. This program offers money back to our school, based on enrolled customer s spending. It is a really easy process. You just tie your Gerbes shopper s card to our school account. If you don t have a Gerbes shopper s card, it takes less than a minute to get one at the store and also online. All the information needed to complete this process is online at rewards. Our school code is It takes just a couple minutes so get all your family and friends to register as well. The school will receive quarterly payments in cash form.
