Eucharist means thanksgiving, and the CSA is an opportunity for us to thank God for all He has given us, particularly the gift of His Son. Both remind us that followers of Jesus are to be bread broken for the life of the world. Through the CSA, we make known the Kingdom of God by helping each other to live our faith and share our Gospel belief. From honoring the dignity of each life, to teaching people of all ages about our faith, to sharing our resources with those who are alone or in need, our gifts to the CSA and the ministries these gifts support are our grateful offerings to God. They did it on October 17, Wednesday evening in our Church. It was a wonderful to see that each one holding a lighted candle and reciting Hail Mary to light up entire Church. Blessed Mother would have been so happy to see her children praying rosary as a group. I thank Carol Plank, Deacon Steve and all teachers who participated and got it organized so well. I look forward to seeing new activities which would involve our future generation. It my brief time here, I have noticed that quite a few in the Church do participate in the prayers and singing being done at weekend Masses. Mother church invites all her faithful to participate in every part of the Mass. Because, it is the celebration of the day of the Lord, the day of His resurrection. By participating actively in the Mass, you become one with the entire Church in praying and praising God in and through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. In this way, you are also setting up an example for your kids, grandkids, great grandkids and others to follow. When you are involved in Mass, you will be able to remain focused. Therefore, our Liturgy is so well designed to keep the people attentive to the different parts of the Mass. When you do not open your mouth to pray and sing, the devil can take you for a ride and then Mass would become a mere obligatory exercise. I am looking forward to see a big improvement in the participation of the Holy Eucharist. I wish you all a happy Halloween and chiefly I wish all our kids to have good fun with trick or treat. But, please remember to dress up like angels or saints or any service persons who do different services to the community and the nation. Please remember November 1 st is the Feast of all Saints and it is a holy day of obligation. We have got Mass at 8 am and 7 pm. November 2 nd is All Souls Day and we remember our departed brothers and sisters in a special way along with the entire Church. We have got Mass at 1 pm with the school kids followed by a procession to the cemetery to bless the graves of all those who desire. Mind blowing! Think about it... *THE 12 SONS OF JACOB (ISRAEL) IS THE MYSTERY OF CHRIST JESUS.!!* Jacob had twelve (12) sons, and in their names put together was the gospel hidden but now revealed through it. It s so amazing how God hid all these wonderful truths inside simple names and stories. PRAISE THE LORD. HE JUDGED OUR STRUGGLES AND BROUGHT US GOOD FORTUNE, HAPPINESS, REWARD, HONOR; HE ADDED US TO HIS FAMILY AND CALLED US THE SONS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. This completely blows one's mind when one discovers it. Jesus Christ is not just a mere name mentioned in sermons. Jesus is the content, the context, the text, the paragraph, the mark and the remark of the *"Word of Truth "*. Jesus is the outline of the entire Bible. And His "scarlet thread" of redemption links & runs through the Bible!!!!!!!
