Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Matthew 9:36-38 From Pastor Ralph... Wow! Wednesday night, May 13, we continued our Spiritual Life Conference having Brad McClain come back for another service. How I wish everyone at Harvest could have been at that service (and 835 of you were). I know it was impossible for some since it wasn t even announced until Sunday the 10th, but I wish everyone could have experienced the power of God s glory present in that service! The worship was so wonderful; we weren t even sure if we should stop for Brad to speak! Many were coming to the altar, and we worshiped until 7:45 when I felt the Lord saying that He wanted to speak to us through Brad. The message was clearly from the Lord and hundreds responded with total abandonment of self to God to be used by Him to reach thousands (Gideon s 300 who put 132,000 to flight). We invite those who responded to that call to meet this Friday night, May 22, at 7pm. The ministry time was outstanding and lasted until nearly 10pm. I have never been in a church service where God s presence and glory was more powerful! The work of God in the scheduled conference (May 3-6) seemed to escalate during the week, and we knew the Lord was not finished. We are thankful that Brad was willing to come back. When you get this newsletter, we will have had a second conference continued service (May 20). Our theme for the conference was 2 Corinthians 3: Verse 18: And we who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord s glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory... When we behold His glory, His glory changes us, and we become reflective of that glory. I want to encourage you to diligently seek God to touch your life during this outpouring of His Spirit. Ask Him to touch you in every way possible to anoint you for abundant and fruitful life that will bring great glory to God. Ask Him to touch others in your life. Be inviting people to come with you. We are being blessed with God s presence in a way that most people never experience. Take full advantage of all He wants do in you during this time of special outpouring.

As most of you know, we ve had special continued conference meetings on Wednesday nights. Please check our website for start dates for these groups to be posted soon. Discipleship 2: The Mind of Christ in room 145 It s Tough Being A Woman: A Study on Esther (Women s Group) in room 106 True Spirituality (Women s Group) in room 208 Wisdom Walkers (Singles 50+) This group is focused on encouragement in your relationship with the Lord and fellowship with one another. Join us starting Sunday, May 31, at in room 101. You Matter More Than You Think (Women s Group) Are you longing to make a difference? Do you find yourself asking, Does my life really matter? Single Moms Conference - June in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a life-changing event open to single mothers. National speakers, authors, and award-winning single parenting experts from around the globe will be joining us to invest their best advice in you on a variety of topics. This national conference encompasses single mothers of all ages, backgrounds, and stories to empower, equip, educate, and encourage. Cost is $125 and is due by June 11. The people of Harvest Church came each service and worshiped with great expectations of God moving in a powerful way. I say this because you as a church have never sung out so loud before, and many of you were praying and really seeking God during the services. Personally I was humbled by seeing ministry taking place each night as the Lord spoke to people and they came forward for prayer. I am so thankful to see God move on so many lives. I think we are sincere in our prayers for more of God and less of us as we go forward in the coming days ahead for Harvest. Maybe we will see more people saved than ever before as a church this year. Rusty Frith Director of Worship The words the Lord really impressed upon me during the conference were that I need to know how God looks at me and keep my identity strongly planted in the truth throughout each day and that there is no room for pride in my heart. I need to empty myself of pride and selfishness through repentance and confession so that God s presence may fill me up to overflowing. The presence of God was strong in those meetings, and I couldn t help but get excited about what the future holds for Harvest! You would pray during the week individually at your convenience. Honey Visitation This team makes a personal connection with first time guests by visiting them at their homes. They deliver a jar of honey, thank them for coming, and invite them to come back. Team members serve once a month after the Sunday morning service of their choice. Sandy Uhler Director of Ministries Thank you to everyone who faithfully served on a ministry team during our Spiritual Life Conference lunch sessions as well as our extended Wednesday night service. Your service to the Lord shines brightly as you minister to others in His name. Emmaus Community Meeting - Tuesday, May 26, in the Office Bldg at. Disaster Relief Meeting - Our Disaster Relief Team will meet on Sunday, June 7, at 5pm in the Office Building. All team members are encouraged to attend. SITE56 ers build relationships as they discover Biblical principles to help them with the unique issues that preteens encounter. Check out our upcoming events! SITE56 Ice Cream Fellowship - Wednesday, May 20. We will meet at in the Office Building for ice cream sundaes. At 6:55pm, we will go to the Worship Center and sit together to hear Brad McClain share with us. The service will end at approximately 8:30pm. SITE56 Splash Party - Sunday, May 31, 6:30-8:15pm at the Hollands on Trawick Road. Join us for a pool party to welcome the 4th graders (rising 5th grade) and say farewell to the 6th graders (rising 7th grade). T-shirts should be worn over bathing suits for girls and guys. Special Needs Assistants are needed for our Sunday Morning Noah s Park (Preschool) and Konstruction Zone (K-4th Gr.) Ministries.
